A Testimony Against The Liars

Image
Greetings sisters! I hope you are joyous in the Lord today!  This morning we were talking about the witnessing that has been going on and brother Jim mentioned how different it is in this part of the country.  We noted that up north and out west there are more people who come up to us to talk while we're in the marketplace (you can read about that here:      )  or while are by our van with our signs on.  It wasn't too long after that a man beggar man walked up to our door asking for money.  (Good timing huh? :-) Brother Jim got out and talked to him and I thought you might be interested in hearing a quick witnessing episode... When he walked up to our van, he was very nice saying in a meek and gentle voice " Sir, do you have any change you could spare?  I'm just looking for a bit of change, could you help me out.... " but it wasn't long, his true colors came out and he was walking away angry.  He was revealed as a hypocrite using God's name to ge

Satan's Ways are Opposite of God's Ways

Good day to my born again, obedient sister saints  who follow after the Lord in ALL truth! Brother Jim did a post about how satan's ways are opposite of God's ways and then gave many examples. You can read that HERE .  I thought I would add some specifically for women. * You shouldn't have to be barefoot and pregnant.  To the world staying home and raising children is a bad thing and a mockery of what should be.   And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.(1 Timothy 2:14-15) * You should go church even if your husband disagrees with it. Denominational religion was created by satan, not God.  Quite often we see the husbands leave from those places and want their wives to come with them, out from it, but they women stay.   Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclea

Bless Those Who Curse You

Greetings to our sisters in the Lord, How awesome is our Father to give us all opportunities to shine His light and truth!  We have been busy on the road and praising God for the witnessing opportunities. I thought I'd share some here as an update so you can be edified. Brother Jim decided that one afternoon we would park at the entrance / exit of a busy parking lot and we would work inside the van, online for a while as it was sprinkling off and on all day.  While we were sitting there I said that I was excited to see who God would have cross our path and stop to talk to us.  It wasn't long and a car slowly crept up to our open door. It was a married couple and the man said he saw the signs, had seen us before, and wanted to stop and talk.  They have a home fellowship in the area, he and brother Jim had a nice long talk about God's Word.  Brother Jim encouraged him to go deeper into God's word as there were areas exposed that they needed to study mor

Witnessing to Women

Greetings to our sisters in Christ, I want to share with you the latest 'Married & in the Word' video brother Jim and I made.  It fits right in this post that I've had in draft for a few days. I also want to encourage you with some witnessing stories that happened while we were at a busy pedestrian mall.  (It's what they call it when you have to walk down the streets, shopping, instead of driving.) This place has hundreds if not thousands of people walking it on a daily basis. We found a good spot at the end of the road where people either crossed the street, got on a trolley or turned around and went back down the street. We had a lot of foot traffic for brother Jim to preach the Word of God to and I held my sign and handed out gospel tracts. Not long after we were out, a woman kept looking at me and I offered a gospel card by holding my hand out with it.  She walked over and said ' What is that? "  I told her it was a gospel card and shar

Giving the Gospel and Selling His Name

Good evening obedient, joyful sister saints! I pray that greeting suits you today? I have been pondering the peace and joy we have as godly saints, thankful for being set free from the agony of being under the rule of satan.  When I was born again, that peace and joy were such a gift, a relief knowing that I belong to the most High God and that He is my Fatherly protection.  It's a priceless gift, that sense of peace...let us never take that for granted. I thought you might like this picture...it speaks volumes to me. The gospel good news, in the hands of an older man that leaned on our van for quite a while, talking with brother Jim.  He was given a lot to think about and we could tell that some of it really convicted him. Praise the Lord:-) And then we saw this. If you look close you can see our Saviors name on their begging cart...wicked women using our Saviors name to get money from people, I hope they repent.  They packed up and walked off shortly after we pulled in.  There w

Hateful Hypocrites and Heavenly Help

Image
Good evening sisters in Christ! I hope your day is joyous in the Lord and you are striving on past this wicked world and satans ways to try to dissuade us.  We have the Lord God Almighty on our side!  We were street preaching & flying signs outside a Salvation Army location, which by the way are totally unbiblical and the people there today were wicked. At one point, a man that works at the Salvation Army jumped in his car, squealed around the corner just inches from us because he was mad.  Later, as we were leaving and that man was coming back, he saw us coming, stepped on the gas, swerved in our lane right in front of us and almost caused a head on collision. And as always, there was a lot of wicked feminism there, you can see it on some of the videos. There was an irritated homeless man who was lurking around our van, brother Jim had me get a food bag for him (you can see the video) and after we walked off, he was across the street yelling things while brother Jim preached....he

Freely Give

Image
Praise God for sisters in Christ! In Matthew 10 shows we are to freely give and that's what we should be doing on a daily basis as situations come into our lives that allow us to do so.   Obviously we are to use discernment in what we give and how much we give.  For example, we can freely give time to someone who wants the strive in the truth of God's Word but if they don't want to obey then we are not to freely give our time for someone who is rebelling against the Word.  We can freely give food and help beggars but if they don't want to work to get off the street and support themselves, we are not to freely give all our resources away to someone who will squander them.  We are to freely give compassion to our children as we raise them but if they are disobedient and won't obey, they will need discipline. In our life we come across all sorts of situations that we give time, resources and of course the main one....the gospel. This morning I had just finished c
