Encouragement for Christian Sisters

Greetings to you Christian sisters all over the world! I pray you are doing well physically and most of all spiritually! Today I want to talk about being flexible in the flesh.  By this I mean, not getting so wrapped up in your flesh, what you like, what you're used to, standards you set etc. that you are not flexible to go with what the Lord might be doing in your life, or just plain old circumstances that change plans. If we are wrapped in the flesh and are upset that things changed, we didn't finish what we wanted to (again!), a schedule was disrupted, projects cancelled or put off, shopping trips not going as planned etc, it will wreck our day and we will lose our peace and joy...in this temporal world.  If we have the mindset on things above...  Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. Colossians 3:2 ...it will eliminate a lot of disappointments and frustrations in our life because we won't be focused on our ideals and goals

Greetings sisters! I pray this day is filled with peace and joy in the Lord!  Brother Jim was just saying that serving the Lord is not boring.  It doesn't matter if you travel like we do or have a house or homestead, if you are an obedient servant, He will use you and keep you busy.   Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold. (Psalm 119:127) As we traveled lately we went from big city... ...to country... We definitely prefer the country :-) but there aren't as many opportunities to witness there so we need to be in the city where people are. (We enjoy it in between though.) Greetings Sisters! I pray this finds you strong in the Lord and shining your light to the world!  One of the ways we can do that is to win the battle over the flesh man.  Brother Jim drew this picture as an illustration that the one you feed will thrive. This is so true and we see this happening all over, even when sounding the alarm. Romans 8 is an excellent book to encourage walking in the Spirit and not in the flesh.
