A Thankful Homemaker

Greetings Sisters! First off I want to say that I pray for you all to have strength to strive on and endure.  It's a hard world and although some have harder times than others, we all have struggles and issues to overcome.  I love writing on this blog because it makes me think more of you than of what I might be going through and therefore by focusing myself on giving encouragement to you, I am uplifted, hoping that in some small way I've brought some light, truth, encouragement and joy to a sister. I also wanted to encourage you sisters who are able to stay home and be homemakers to be thankful for the opportunity to do that.  Some of you might think it's tiresome and are looking for something more exciting in your life but I would encourage you to be careful because we are not to live in our flesh and the grass isn't always greener on the other side.  Be thankful that you are protected in your home and able to live a quiet, peaceful life.  What a blessing,...

A Day On the Job...Our Father Provides

Greetings sisters! I pray you are all standing strong in the Lord in the power of His might.  (Ephesians 6:10) The seasons are passing fast and we can't believe that it's going to be August soon!  Let us remember to redeem the time (Ephesians 5:16) and stay on the narrow path.   Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (Matthew 7:13-14) We are so thankful the Lord always provides for us either by helping us eliminate the unnecessary or providing work to keep us going in the ministry.  The past week and another week ahead we are here in Missouri carving enough orders to fund us for the rest of the summer into fall, and today we were blessed to have a nice job which I thought I'd share it with you.
