Sharing Truth, Sunsets and Scripture Pictures

Image
Good evening sisters! How are you today?  I hope you are strong in the Lord! I thought maybe you might want to see a series of sunset pictures from the other night and we can all marvel at the creation from our heavenly Father. To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One. Isaiah 40:25  And they were all amazed at the mighty power of God. But while they wondered every one at all things which Jesus did, he said unto his disciples,  Luke 9:43  And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Ephesians 1:19-20  Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. Revelation 7:12  Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in d...

Souper Smart Youth

Good afternoon to our striving sisters in Christ! Praise God for another day and we've been blessed with good weather although the wind is something fierce today (and the past few days) so it's not very good for holding signs.  That's okay because there's always much to do in the ministry so we stopped at a park for a while. Brother Jim is doing some things in the generator hut and I'm having a little chocolate and nut snack.... ...and writing to my sisters:-)  On our way to this destination we drove through farmland, countryside.  We both grew up in it so we're thankful to be able to partake of it on our travels. In a recent POST I mentioned about my new diffuser and why I got it....I thought I'd show you a picture of one reason. It hauls livestock and they sure can be SMELLLLLLY to not only follow after but have one idling beside you all night.  In comes my diffuser which will give us a bit of relief:-) Yesterday I was texting our oldest grandson. (Brothe...

Being Known By Your Fruit

Image
Good evening sisters! Did you have a productive day today?  Were you thanking the Lord for what He has done and all that awaits us if we endure through this life, in honor and obedience to Him?  What a merciful and loving Father we have! Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Luke 6:36 I wanted to share about being known by your fruit and share a story with you.  We are blessed to be able to be in direct contact with our oldest grandson via text and one day brother Jim text him and said 'Guess what we did today?"  You can see his response... That brought us great joy.  (We had actually just made a small package with some goodies in it for him and his sisters and he knows we do that once in a while but he didn't guess that:-)  I shared a post with you a while ago when we visited them and his little sister said (in response to why we sent them a picture of us)  " We remember you because you love God. " You can read that HERE .) ...

Breakfast and a Fixer

Image
Good day to our sisters in Christ, Praise be to God the Father, maker of all things! I pray you are strong and keeping your eyes on Christ. When we visit our grandchildren they always ask to go see our van. They are fascinated that someone can live like we do, and of course we share with them why we do it...for the preaching of the gospel. While we were in there, our youngest grandson pointed up and said... It's the jack that raises the roof that Jim built.  He's 5 yrs old and already has his mind on fixing things:-) Too cute:-) Matthew 18:3  And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Speaking of the vanlife, since we live off grid and don't have a refrigerator, we use a cooler to keep things cold. In Wisconsin and Minnesota there's a convenience / gas station chain that gives away complimentary ice and they have really good coupon deals in their app. We got all this for .85 cent...

We Remember You Because You Love God!

Image
Greetings sisters in Christ! Praise the Lord for this day as all good things come from Him! Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. James 1:17  We were blessed to see 6 of our grandchildren in 2 days:-) A while ago we sent our picture to them and I said to two of the girls (7 and 5), " we wanted to make sure they don't forget who we are ."  The youngest said " We remember you because you love God! ". What a way to be remembered, how awesome!  Our testimony to those young children will be known as the as  Papa and Nana who love God:-) Earlier, the girls wanted me to show them our van again while Papa spent time with our grandson. While we were sitting in there talking, I told them that we don't just drive around for fun, we do it to share the gospel and help people understand the truth.  The youngest asked what a gospel was so I explained in 5 yea...

Precious Grandchildren

Greetings sisters in Christ! The other day we took some time to catch up online ministry and had a beautiful spot to do so. We have been blessed to spend time with some of our grandchildren (6 of them from 2 households) and thought I'd share a bit about it and maybe bring some smiles to you.  Their parents are not born again believers but some allow us to speak truth into the grandchildren's lives of which we are thankful. We took a walk with a couple of the girls and here you can listen to an audio of part of the conversation where we talked about God and His creation. I brought some sewing supplies to teach them how to sew and I was surprised at how fast they caught on! We made some simple purse bags: I brought some flowers so they could learn to plant flowers and take care of them. Then we strung some beads to add a bit of decor to the pots. And we played a simple game of trying to toss the bag...
