Hold Fast

Image
🌹Greetings and love to our sister saints!🌹 Praise the Lord for His mercies and grace! Last night we weathered a big ⛈️ storm⛈️ and brother Jim made some videos of it as it progressed.   In the meantime I was messaging 📲 with a sister and got an idea for an audio 🔊 to make for you all, you can find that HERE .  I hope it encourages you to hold fast as our reward is ahead if we don't grow weary! Thank you sister, for the scripture pictures:-) Some encouragement between sisters. A scripture from a sister that I put to a picture from our travels today. Praise God to be able to share His precious word with each other and in our daily lives. Thank you to the saint who shared this idea...when there's no place to 📌 'pin'📌a GOSPEL card.  We stop at every rest top we can and leave one for a potentially lost traveler who might be looking for the direction ↖️to go... A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.  Proverbs 16:9  🌻🌺🌹🌸...

Planting Seeds

Image
🏵️ Good afternoon sisters! 🏵️ I brought you along last night while we drove 🚐 to our parking spot. Praise the Lord for a place for us all to rest our heads, amen sisters? We were blessed to have a tree to park by which gives a little sense of security one side of the van as people drive by:-). But that little security is nothing compared to what awaits us in the end if we endure through this life.   Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,  To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 1 Peter 1:3-5 Probably like you, whenever I see seeds I think of the parable of the seed sower.  Brother Jim and I talk about sewing seeds all the time because it seems we do that a lot....

Set Your Pace for the Enduring Race

Image
Good evening sisters! Praise God we are rejoicing that we had safe travels, I was able to witness today and we have been blessed with some work so it makes us extra busy....but we are thankful for all! I made a video for you. We were talking about how our life changes quickly such as being slower paced with more one on one witnessing, then busy with street preaching, work and travel and brother Jim said I should encourage you in this (and he gave me the title:-)  We all have varied lives and need to find our own pace that will allow us to remain steadfast in the faith without springing up and then withering away or being so slow to grow that we die in the process.  This requires a constant examination of your life, what you do, and what you can add to or remove in order to continue pressing on. And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word.  But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou n...

The Silent Sweeper

Image
Shout praises to our King, sisters! For He has made the way for us, amen.  What a joyous thing to think about every morning when you wake up.  It gets your mind on Him instead of self and circumstances.  (Yes, I know that's easier said than done sometimes but we are to do that none the less.) We were in a town a few days ago that offered a place for us to sit outside while working online and enjoying a refillable cup of coffee, the marketplace :-)  There was a little, older Mexican woman doing the rounds of cleaning everything from sweeping to mopping, washing tables, chairs and the counters as well as cleaning up the outside area.  She did a cycle of it all and then went back and repeated it once it was done.  As we were leaving, I went inside to give her a gospel card and told her she was doing a good job.  She smiled and her husband (we assume it was him as she talked to him a few times while he sat at a table)  did as well.   A meek ...

We Don't Fit In

Image
Praise the Lord for another day Sisters! How are you faring against the wickedness of the evil one?   Are you setting your mind on Christ and what is set before us in eternal life or are you allowing yourself to be distracted by the world?   I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.  Romans 12:1-2 Being distracted could very well go along with being in sin you know.  Revelation 22:14-15 say that if you love and practice a lie then you will be left outside the gates of heaven.   Today we were standing out on a busy intersection where (we didn't fit in) the cars were lined up at a stop sign, holding gospel signs. (Jim's said  'Christ Mass is pagan' and...

A Time to Laugh and a Time to Weep

Image
Greetings sisters in Christ! Are you being good soldiers, fighting the good fight and not growing weary?  Those are all commands and we can overcome through the blood of the lamb, with the help of the Holy Spirit. To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: [2] A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; [3] A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; [4] A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; [5] A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; [6] A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; [7] A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; [8] A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.  Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 It's one of my favorite books in the bib...
