Having Issues with Others and Forgiving our Husband

Image
Greetings sisters in Christ, I pray you are thanking the Lord for another day to serve Him here and be a shining light into the darkness.   Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,  Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.  (Hebrews 12:1-2) And a sister used to share this one a lot: I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.   (Galatians 2:20) First of all I want to encourage all of you who are struggling to keep the focus on Christ when everything is coming at you.  We know all too we

A Day On the Job...Our Father Provides

Greetings sisters! I pray you are all standing strong in the Lord in the power of His might.  (Ephesians 6:10) The seasons are passing fast and we can't believe that it's going to be August soon!  Let us remember to redeem the time (Ephesians 5:16) and stay on the narrow path.   Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (Matthew 7:13-14) We are so thankful the Lord always provides for us either by helping us eliminate the unnecessary or providing work to keep us going in the ministry.  The past week and another week ahead we are here in Missouri carving enough orders to fund us for the rest of the summer into fall, and today we were blessed to have a nice job which I thought I'd share it with you. When we got to our job we saw 3 fawns walking arou

When Man Made Religion Meets God's Word

Greetings sisters! This is just a quick post to share a video brother Jim and I made.  It speaks for itself. (By the way if you can't read it, that's a wooden pulpit.) Have a joyous day in the Lord. Love in Christ, Sister Deb The biblical gospel... https://www.dontperish.com/the-gospel.html

Walmart Witnessing and Baby Birds

Image
Hello sisters! Pray for one another that we may stand strong and not waver from the truth. I want to start out by giving our father glory for His marvelous creation!  There's a bird nest by our driveway here in Missouri and we marvel at how a bird can make it so perfect.  It hangs on 2 thin branches and is round inside.  We couldn't make one like this with two hands and she does it with a beak and claws.  Amazing... God's creation never ceases to amaze us, it shows His great magnitude.   Even when we are camping out parking lots around the country, we always get to see His creation if we look for it.  Unique insects, birds cleaning the parking lots and in between towns we get to see the landscape and wide open skies. Speaking of parking lots, I was in Walmart the other day and after checking out I was thanking God for the discounted yogurt and vegetables that I found.  As I walked outside I saw a tent in the parking lot with a couple older men selling t s

Just a quick post here to share a video I made about loving our husbands, I hope it encourages you. Have a joyous evening sisters. God's Marvelous Creation

Greetings sisters in Christ! The  Lord  bless thee, and keep thee:  The  Lord  make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The  Lord  lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. (Numbers 6:24-26) That verse is awesome isn't it?  It's one of the verses I used to hear all the time in the dead religious Lutheran religion that I grew up in.  It was repeated so many times at the end of the services that as a child it's easy to remember.  I praise God my eyes were blind and ears were deaf to the false teachings of that system and none of it made any sense to me about forgiveness but continual sin.  And since I didn't fall for their lies, I was an open book and hungry for the truth the very second I heard the gospel. Today that passage means a lot to me because it sheds light on that God that I thought was so far from me but now being born again, He is right there.  Amen! I just wanted to post a few videos of God's marvelous c

Preferring the Profane

Good evening sisters! We are rejoicing in the Lord for the hope of eternal life that awaits those who are faithful to Him. For we live by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7 I'm thankful for this time for ministry and am catching up on a some topics that have been brewing in me to share with you. As I type this we are out being fishers of men.  We shall see if the Lord brings someone who is seeking the truth and if not, we are getting a lot of ministry work done this evening. As we are here in a public place, we suffer the profane things of the world (gossip on the tv, vile immodesty both men and women, foolish and coarse jesting etc.)  but we are not about that business.  We simply continue to go about the Lord's work, looking past, ignoring and not letting it distract us.  We don't moralize the culture and try to change their sinful habits as only the gospel can do that, which is why we are here...to share it. But on the other hand, the culture is out to quen

Calling Out Ministries

Image
Greetings Sisters! I pray you are staying cool, if you can but I guess that all depends on what part of the world you are in!  We are in the midst of summer and we are not lacking the sunshine or humidity :-)  Praise God we are joyous no matter what because our hope and joy are in the Lord, not our circumstances. Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.  Romans 15:13 The other day I posted that we stood outside a religious body the other day and today I want to talk about calling out ministries and why we do it.  Oftentimes when people contact us it's to complain, accuse or mock the things of God and most of the time they say something like 'All you do is call other people out'.  But they don't look very far because we have hundreds of articles, audios and videos to teach people the biblical gospel and how to be obedient in the life of a Christian.  But sadly almost eve
