Dust Storm After a Spiritual Storm

Image
Greetings, sisters, in the name of our beloved Savior! I pray you are all suited up in the Ephesians 6 armor for the spiritual battle that we all face, on a daily basis.  Some days are more wicked than others but all must be walked through carefully lest we fall. Today we were out on the battlefield and it was.... Brother Jim and I were talking about how this has to be the most wicked place we've been thus far.  It's a liberal college town in the middle of a 'greenie' state (there are tons of 'earthy' new age, pagan people here that hate God.)  I told him that when we're done in places like this, it's like we got hit by a truck and I made the mistake of going into the store after all this and it wore me right down.  Picture having all those people walk by and hate you, then you walk among them in the grocery store.  I call it 'walking the gauntlet' which is from a military term 'running the gauntlet' where a convicted person

Fighting Fear and God's Beautiful Creation

Greetings sisters in Christ! Praise the Lord for all good things, blessings and peace unto you in the name of our Lord and Savior! A sister shared a story of which she had some fear from a storm but repented of it and it reminded me of some fear I had recently.  I shared here on the blog a while ago how we had to move to another parking spot in the dark, out in the wilderness of which we were unfamiliar with some of the roads. We rarely drive after dark anymore and the road we were on was very bumpy, windy and hilly with a deep gorge on one side.  I admit, I had fear and but kept telling myself that fear is not of God and just as I repented, brother Jim pulled us into a nice spot, praise God, He is merciful! Fear is not of God, for His children.  Let's remember the disciples on the boat while Jesus slept, 1 John 4 says perfect love casts out fear and we are not to fear them that can kill the body (Matthew 10).  Until the day we die, we will continue to have fear (at times) but

An Unconventional Picnic (and lots of videos)

Greetings sisters in Christ! I thought I'd share a bit of insight of my keeper of the home activities...we had a picnic:-)  Yep, when we left the sinful city we were in, we ventured into the wilderness for almost 2 whole days of no driving, no street preaching, no sign holding but lots of online ministry in the quiet of God's creation. While we were there we had a picnic.  A simple one at that:-) Here's a video of our camp spot.   Which by the way is the first time we've paid to camp in 2 years.  $12 per night and we got all the water we needed so of course I washed every speck of clothing I could find:-)  And brother Jim got to have a fire, he was joyous about that! It was the only place we could find without having to drive more hours after being out witnessing and it was on the way to our next destination.   We enjoyed a bit of quiet time by the water and brother Jim made a teaching video, you can find that HERE on his teaching blog.   After some

Being Grateful

Image
Greetings sisters! I pray you are continuing to strive on in obedience after our Savior as He has offered us the best gift ever!     And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.  My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. John 10:28-29 We all face various circumstances in our life and they change on a continuous basis.  Some endure many hardships while some may not and then time goes on and the roles switch and everyone gets a chance to experience the good and the hardships.  It rains on the just and the unjust as we see in Matthew 5:45 and let us not forget Job and many other references especially in the old testament.   We must remember to be grateful in all situations and this goes along with the role of being a godly woman.  We are to have a meek and quiet spirit, living a chaste and pure life, thankful for what the Lord has do

Wicked and Wonderful

Greetings sisters in Christ, I pray this finds you all strong in the Spirit.  I want to share how I had (for a short time) grown weak in the Spirit and desperately needed to be renewed... And be renewed in the spirit of your mind Ephesians 4:23 And our Father, who is rich in mercy and love for His people, gave that to me in the form knowledge and understanding.  Let me share with you... We were recently in a wickedly indulgent tourist town for many days and although I shared with you the wilderness of peace that we had when we weren't on the streets, I didn't share what we went through.  First of all I will say that God was glorified on those days of the gospel, good news, being preached and also the Hebrews 4 sword that was used to call people out of their sins. This particular day started out as normal when we go out on the streets.  We set our mind on the Lord and prepare ourselves.  We make sure we are ready and then we depart, trusting in the Lord for all t

God Gave Me A Rock!!!

Good morning sisters! I pray your day is joyous in the Lord as we are to remember John 16:33 be of good cheer as our Savior has overcome the world! Our Father's timing never ceases to amaze me.  A sister and I were talking about edifying things that I could add to the blog and she suggested going over more Titus 2 issues for women.  I mentioned that I would see what I have and add to it, bringing in more examples  in my own life, within my posts.  (I get caught up in my role as being an evangelists wife and all the things that go along with it, I must remember to include my role as Titus 2 and how I can retain and obtain those attributes within this life to encourage you in yours.)  Well, I was given a GREAT example and a prayer answered by the Father, just last night. Before I go into that I want to share a video I made a couple days ago when we were done witnessing and headed to our mountain camp spot for the night.  We were so joyous to get out of that town at the end of t
