Psalm 103

Greetings Sisters, This picture was taken last year in Wisconsin and it was the most awesome rainbow we've ever seen!  I have little to say today....God's Word says it all:-) Praise the Lord! 1Bless the  Lord , O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2  Bless the  Lord , O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3  Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4  Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; 5  Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. 6  The  Lord  executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed. 7  He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel. 8  The  Lord  is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. 9  He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever. 10  He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor r

Fix our Hearts, Trusting in the Lord

Greetings Sisters, I'm sure you all know the Proverbs 31 woman and one of the well used verses is vs 10: Who can find a virtuous woman for her price is far above rubies. I wonder how many of you have actually pondered that verse though?  It's a rare thing to know a godly woman who strives in all obedience, out of love, after her Savior....let that be us. One who throws herself at the King of Kings and trusts with all her heart that His promises are true and He has gone to prepare a place for her... And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (John 13:3) It warms my heart and gives me strength just reading those words because it really is a crooked and perverse generation...  That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world (Philippians 2:15) And when we see even on

He Makes a Way

Greetings sisters! I pray you all are doing well and trusting in our Father for all things. I might have already titled a post like this but it's still true and He does.  Brother Jim just did a teaching on how our Father doesn't allow us to be temped more than we can bear and He also makes a way of escape. (1 Corinthians 10:13) I thought of that verse today and also the passage about our Father parting the Red Sea for the escape of His people from Egypt.   But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.  (Exodus 14:16) We were traveling from one town in Wyoming to another one about 2 hours away and if you know anything about Wyoming there are a lot of wide open spaces with nothing but land and sky.  No houses, no people, no towns for miles and miles.  So we were driving and the further we went, the blacker the sky looked and when I looked it up the interne

In The World But Not Of It

Good afternoon sisters! I pray that this finds you focusing on things above, setting your affections there (Colossians 3:2) As we walk through this world, every single day we have to redirect our focus to the Lord so that we are walking on the narrow path and not slipping onto the wide road.  Brother Jim drew this for another brother who requested it. We see how narrow it is by the rejection of the truth when the gospel goes out.  We pray that those seeds will find fertile ground and someday produce godly fruit to glorify our Father in heaven. We had a nice couple days in a very pretty (free) city park that offers water and showers, with a river running right by it, what a blessing to be able to partake of some quiet beauty. There was much witnessing going on as brother Jim had many opportunities to share the gospel. As we were camped out there I was thinking about how we are not citizens of this world but a remnant of the Lord, doing His work until He ca

Philippians 4

Hello Sisters! I hope you are all doing well, praise God for another day to serve Him. This is just a quick post of me reading Philippians 4 and I hope it's encouraging to you. Have a joyous evening! Love in Christ, Sister Deb The biblical gospel... https://www.dontperish.com/the-gospel.html

Out on the Battle Field

Good evening sisters! As I write this (posted at a later date) we have just arrived at our destination for the evening and we thank God for a safe trip!  It's actually cool outside (crazy for July!) and we are appreciating it because normal summer temps are coming back soon:-) We were rejoicing last night because it worked out to where several of the brothers from around the country were able to get on a conference call, all at the same time and talk about the things of God.  The people of God come from all different walks of life, each has their own back story and all are moving forward toward the kingdom of heaven and unity comes only when we are all of one mind. Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. (1 Corinthians 1:10) Unity cannot come through compromise otherwise it is not a tru

Saying Goodbye and Going Forward

Hello sisters! I pray you are all standing strong in the Lord and being a living witness for the world in your obedience.  I rejoice as a sister wrote in claiming miraculous works in her husband.  She is striving to be a quiet, shamefaced, obedient wife and is saying that the Lord is working hard in her husband who is coming out of the world.  Let us rejoice at the victories in the saints!  Amen! I'll update on what's been going on before I share about saying goodbye... We are traveling for a while before we head to Missouri to do some carving work, a few trips around local areas and then out west to Wyoming we go....after that I'm not sure where we will go.  We really like to get out west in the summer because there are soooooo many tourists out that way along the highways and we get many opportunities to witness!  My personal favorite witnessing is with the downtrodden, unique, and rather black sheep of the world.  Those who have never felt like they fit in, are on
