Tomato Soup and Tasks

Image
Good evening sister saints! We've been thankful to be very busy both in ministry and in physical work.  Lots of tasks getting done and we're getting closer to getting back on the road, Lord willing, that is.  How are you all doing?  I'm sure some are planting seedlings for their gardens and praying the Lord will allow a good harvest at the end. 🍎   🥭   🌶️   🧅   🥕   🌽   🍉   🥑   🥬   🍓   🍠   🍒    The other day while washing clothes outside under the porch roof, I was thankful for what the Lord has blessed us with.  I was out of the sun, hand washing clothes with all the water I could use as we had just filled the barrels from the well....and I had a flashback to who I used to be before Christ, sitting in an office or trying not to look out the window of a plane while flying off to business meetings.  What a joy to be redeemed from a wicked sinful woman to a Titus 2 God fearing woman who is striving to be obedient to Him.  I'm blessed and I hope you all see th

Purposeful Purse and the Perfect Gospel

Image
Good evening sisters! (Thank you faithful sister for the picture that I can share with all the sisters:-) Today we had some work and a bit of travel. We were blessed with a sunny, cool day. And at the end of it, I had to run into a store. On the way down the road to our little place in the woods, I made a quick video for a sister.  This is the purse I was wearing.   So the gospel went out today, praise God! And.... You never know how God will use you in your every day life as an obedient Titus 2, godly woman.  Here's an example of diligence in a godly woman: Well reported of for good works; if she have brought up children, if she have lodged strangers, if she have washed the saints' feet, if she have relieved the afflicted, if she have diligently followed every good work. 1 Timothy 5:10 And another: And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us : whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which

How to Modify A Shirt (with video)

Image
Good day sisters!   Maybe it's morning when you read this:-)  A sister saint (thank you) made this picture (and one below) and I thought it was a good greeting for you all.  I'm thankful to be able to have some time to do some Titus 2 duties: sewing projects and get ready for our next trek down the road, Lord willing.   I made a couple videos of of my sewing that I thought might be helpful to some of you.  The first one is a quick way to make a large neck on a shirt, smaller so that it doesn't bag out on you. Next I have a longer video that shows how I modified a few different things on a shirt that I got from the thrift store.  It was too big for blogger to put here so it's in our ministry page HERE .  For those who don't have a sewing machine, they can be purchased for a reasonable price or you can hand sew like I have done on the road.  (I've hand sewn brother Jim's tunics on the bed in the van, yep anything is possible:-) I'll be honest with you si

Discipling Saints and Walking With the Lord

Image
Good evening sister saints! I hope your day is going well and that you are all good in both physical health and strong in the Lord! Brother Jim and I were walking while he took a ministry call and so I made some videos of it for you so it's like you were there too.  You will notice that the only person you will hear in the videos are of brother Jim talking and I planned it out that way.  He shares some good messages so maybe you will be edified by it all.  (And hopefully the videos turn out good enough to appreciate God's creation.) Sisters, you see that by being a quiet wife, helping our husbands, we are a good testimony to his household.  Don't think that your life does not reflect much truth or light because it's a tremendous affect on those around you whether they take it in a good way or not.  God is being glorified through it and His word not be blasphemed. The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to mu

Feminist Email Answered

Image
Greetings in Christ to my godly obedient sisters! We received an email from a  feminist woman and brother Jim asked me to post it here and talk about it with you.  Below is the email and then I will break it down. "  Hi It is the Lord's wish that I write to you and tell you that you must be IN Christ, walk in His Spirit. When you walk in His Spirit you will no longer do the desires of the flesh and are therefore no longer male or female, for when you speak the Holy Spirit will speak.  You must come out of the world of religion and follow Jesus Christ only. You have taken the bible and made it your idol, for you follow the instructions Paul gave to the churches who had difficulty walking in the Spirit. But you are not born again and hear from the Spirit yourself.  Those churches that Paul addressed were to do certain things (wear headcovering etc) because they were not walking in the Spirit. You must know who God is and He must know you. Or you will perish You must hear His vo

A Day in the Life (April 25, 2021)

Hello sister saints!   I pray you are all striving on, loving one another and doing your best to overcome in this world, knowing that blessed hope lies before us. This is just a simple post to let you know I'm praying for you all. And if you truly are my born again sister (listen to an audio HERE that I made a while ago), contact me and we can encourage one another every day to keep pressing on.  You can find our contact info on our gospel page HERE . We are working on projects for the week and maybe another, we shall see.  I just finished tearing apart the van house and reorganizing.  Brother Jim has some projects he's working on. In fact I took this picture of the lumber on our bed in the van (we had no other way to haul it) and sent it to  sister who sent it back with the scripture. And here's a post of what brother Jim did today, you can find it HERE and it has some great verses about refuge. I have washing to do and some sewing yet so, all in good time.    We are tha
