Discipling Saints and Walking With the Lord
Good evening sister saints!
I hope your day is going well and that you are all good in both physical health and strong in the Lord!
Brother Jim and I were walking while he took a ministry call and so I made some videos of it for you so it's like you were there too. You will notice that the only person you will hear in the videos are of brother Jim talking and I planned it out that way. He shares some good messages so maybe you will be edified by it all.
(And hopefully the videos turn out good enough to appreciate God's creation.)
Sisters, you see that by being a quiet wife, helping our husbands, we are a good testimony to his household. Don't think that your life does not reflect much truth or light because it's a tremendous affect on those around you whether they take it in a good way or not. God is being glorified through it and His word not be blasphemed.
The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. (Titus 2:3-5)
It's been super busy in the ministry today as well as us getting some projects done. Brother Jim worked on the garden containers and you can see a post he did with some videos of it HERE along with the parable of the seed sower. While he was doing that, I was in the sewing room, tackling a large pile of clothing that needed some modifying. I'll do a separate post on that soon as I show you how I modify my thrift store clothing.
Praise God for being busy....
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons. (Colossians 3:23-25)
And led us be thankful for all we have.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. (Psalm 100:4)
And I leave you with this for my gardening sisters who are working hard at getting theirs going...
Love to you all:-)
