Showing Strength of the Lord

Image
Greetings to our sister saints:-) Praise the Lord for this day to serve Him!  Today, washing clothes, I was pondering an audio to make for you sisters and what came to mind was the strength of the Lord and how we can show it to those around us.   You can also find it HERE on the sisters audio page.  It was a beautiful day, almost like spring, but I'm sure more cold is coming for a while but that's okay too:-) That's a wonderful and loving God but the verses that follow are not what we sisters saints want to hear.. But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. [3] For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness. Isaiah 59:2-3  Let us examine ourselves and ask the Lord to help us do so...   Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:  And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead

Lessons From Nature

Image
Good evening sisters! I saw this awesome sight and wanted to share it with you .   There are many lessons we can learn just by watching that. * Quietness * * Peace * * Obedience * * Following * * Order * * Submission * * Trust * The life of a godly woman is one of many trials and she has to learn how to navigate through it in the strength of the Lord....not her own or she will fall.   She needs to put all her trust in the Lord, not man. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.   Psalm 118:8    She needs to follow after our Savior by being obedient to the Word and that means we have to do the hard things, just like Jesus did. He was betrayed by one who was close to Him, and many ran from Him. He was wrongfully accused, hated, lied about and suffered for the sins of mankind. Yet did He stand up and try to defend Himself? Did He argue that they were wrongly judging Him?  He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we

See If There Be Any Wicked Way In Me

Greetings sisters in Christ! There was .... Wickedness :-( For a short time, in me today, after I got off a 2 hour phone call that did nothing and I'll have to do it all again tomorrow.  (Technology, that's all I'll say lest I go backwards...)  Brother Jim knew I was crabby and I was fighting in my flesh, but not doing very well at it.  He said something to the effect that if this is the worst thing we have going on then we're doing pretty good.  My thought was ' you're not the one who has to do it ' and I dropped that like a hot rock because he's right.  We have the hope of eternal life, how can we let little things overtake us when we should be overtaking them? For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. [5] Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:4-5 It could be that I was weakened by physical struggles, then worn down

Greetings sisters in Christ! Let us rejoice that we are not in bondage to sin and are free in Christ!  This morning I was going into the grocery store to refill a gallon of water and had an interesting experience.  First off let me say that we live in America, ' the land of the free and home of the brave ' or so they say, yet many are living in bondage and fear over the ' virus ' propaganda. Hmmmm.....  But, there are many areas in the country that people won't fall for it and are maskless, brother Jim and I included unless it's a place that absolutely will not allow you to enter without one.  We then either honor their request or go elsewhere. (I want to add that it's a liberty / conscience issue when it comes to masks and a person can choose to wear one because they have serious health issues etc.)  So I was walking through the store, maskless, to get my water when I walked by 2 older men sitting across the table from one another. (It looked like a tempor

Greetings sisters in Christ! Thank the Lord for this day and let us all be content with our lot in life.  I often hear brother Jim say that to men he councils, encouraging them to be content in their lot in life.  We see in the book of 1 Corinthians 12 how there are many parts of the body with various callings in their life, we certainly see that don't we sisters?  We all are in different parts of the world, doing different things (some things similar to others) yet we are all of the same body.  We all have struggles in our flesh in the life that God has called us, not one has the perfect life and won't until we enter heaven.  It could be easy to look at someone else's life and long for that instead of what we have, but that's sinful to do isn't it?  (And quite frankly, we don't know all the details and if we did, we might not want that life after all and think the one we have is pretty good.)   2 Timothy 2:3 I wanted to write about enduring hardness like a goo

Who Will We Be?

Greetings to our obedient, steadfast sisters in Christ! We are in the northern midwest heading even more north and then some more! Lord willing of course. Brother Jim and I have been talking about how although the body of Christ is few and far between, scattered abroad, we are all together...in Spirit and that's the most important thing. If we look at this life as a job for the Lord, then we stop living it for us and trying to appease our flesh, and instead focus on the tasks at hand.   God has given us all ministries right in the lives we have.  We have to be careful and see that lest we be looking past and wanting something else that God may not have for us.  We all have to continuously evaluate this in our lives to make sure we are living for Him and not us and what we would like to do.   Don't look at who you are today and what you don't know or can't do, look at who you will become if you trust in Him to guide you. Psalm 31:3  For thou art my rock and m

Greetings sisters in Christ! I pray you are striving on and not being led astray by fear, doubt, false doctrine, weak flesh etc.  Stand strong on the Word and you will stand strong in this World.  We have been very busy in the ministry and we see the older we get and the longer we walk this path of truth in Christ, the more we have to remind ourselves to keep our focus where it is most important and not allow distractions.  You can imagine what sort of contact we have from people, oftentimes helping them out tremendously only to have them do what looks to be, tossing the truth aside to follow their own way.  (We pray seeds were planted.)  We can be stretched very thin if we don't remember to keep those 'boundaries'.  Brother Jim is going to do a teaching on personal help vs spiritual help and I'll share it when he does.  It's too easy to become too involved in people's personal lives and it takes the focus of what we are here for, to strengthen and raise up peo
