Lessons From Nature

Good evening sisters!

I saw this awesome sight and wanted to share it with you.

There are many lessons we can learn just by watching that.

* Quietness *

* Peace *

* Obedience *

* Following *

* Order *

* Submission *

* Trust *

The life of a godly woman is one of many trials and she has to learn how to navigate through it in the strength of the Lord....not her own or she will fall.

She needs to put all her trust in the Lord, not man.

It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.   Psalm 118:8

She needs to follow after our Savior by being obedient to the Word and that means we have to do the hard things, just like Jesus did.

He was betrayed by one who was close to Him, and many ran from Him. He was wrongfully accused, hated, lied about and suffered for the sins of mankind. Yet did He stand up and try to defend Himself? Did He argue that they were wrongly judging Him?

He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.  Isaiah 53:3-7

He opened not His mouth. I need to learn that more myself. Yes, sometimes no matter what you do or don't do, say or don't say, you feel like a sheep led to the slaughter.

(Thank you sister for the various scripture pictures)

Well we're in good company if we follow our Savior and do what He did.

A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak Ecclesiastes 3:7

Retaliating or defensive words rarely do any good when the other is set in their mind on the situation.  Godly women are to have a meek and quiet manner about them regardless if the other person is being godly or not.

Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.  Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.   1 Peter 3:1-4

Remember, the Lord knows all. He knows what you do and think and He also knows what others do and think.

Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.  If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.  Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.  Romans 12:17-19

Oftentimes words are used as vengeance and sometimes it gets to the point to where they feel like death.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.  Proverbs 18:21

Let us not use words in such a manner and also remember to protect yourself when they are used as a sword against you.

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you. Matthew 5:44

And keep on mind, we have all fallen short of the glory of God and will continue to fall at times so remember to be long suffering, merciful, patient and forgiving to those who are not that way with you.

Tough order to follow but commanded none the less sisters.

The tribulations we endure here are nothing compared to what awaits us.

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.  Romans 8:18

Amen. Let us keep our eyes on the Lord and follow after Him as godly women should.

Love to you all and I'm here to encourage you to press on and through.

Peace, love and blessings,

Sister Deb
