Sheep Among Wolves...The Workers Are Few But They Are Out There

Image
Hello sisters, I asked brother Jim to draw a picture and this is what he felt led to do. I add these verses... Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.  Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves. (Luke 10:2-3) The workers are few but they are out there. Have a peaceful evening. Love, Sister Deb The biblical gospel... https://www.dontperish.com/the-gospel.html

The Slow Slide into Sin

Image
Greetings sisters! Are you standing strong in the Lord and the power of His might? (Ephesians 6:10) The battle is on and raging; satan is roaming around seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8) and we see him succeeding left and right, day after day.   Today I want to share with you about the slow slide into sin:-( We see it all the time. A woman claiming the name of Christ, saying she is born again, sharing about her transformed life and desiring to walk in holiness and obedience to the Word....until something in her life threatens her comfort and she conforms like a chameleon to her surroundings, and those in it.   These are women who have claimed to be transformed inside through the power of the Holy Spirit and then through obedience, have changed their external appearance and actions.  They are head covered, biblically dressed (not just 'modest' but biblical), claiming to be working on submission to husbands or elders, separated from the world, not clinging

Inspired and Encouraged by the Brethren

Hello sisters! Just a quick letter to say I'm thinking of you all!  We are traveling to a job that we have to do tomorrow but I wanted to share with you a couple short videos I made. I thought I'd include a few pics of the day... Here's the view I have from our van....camping in the Cabela's parking lot:-)  We're thankful for a place to rest. I'm so thankful....today I started out with some very rough physical trials but now I am doing better.  Praise God, don't every take your health for granted. As we were parked here we saw a very strange thing and without going into details I will say this verse came into my head. And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Matthew 10:28 Nobody can do anything to His children unless He allows it.  Remember that sisters. It's late and we have to get up early an

A White Stone with a New Name

Image
Greetings sisters! I pray you are all well and strong in the Lord.  Each day that goes by is one day closer to being set free from this world and into eternal life with our Father! For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. Romans 14:8 And some day we get a new name.... Brother Jim and I have been running into a lot of roadblocks and technicalities that have been a big hindrance lately and it can be very tiring especially when you want to be doing the things of the Lord, but it teaches us patience and endurance. Enduring through these trials is part of our Romans 12:1-2 sacrifice for the Lord, killing our flesh and continuing to move forward day by day.  We only get one day at a time so we better be thankful for each one. I do look forward to that day though, and I try not to be impatient in this life, enduring and waiting upon Him to release me to be with Him an

Being Set Free From the Bondage of Sin

Image
Greetings sisters, in the name of our Lord and Savior! I pray you are standing strong, enduring and being thankful.  Isaiah 26:8 Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O  Lord , have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee. I made a video yesterday about how thankful I am to be set free from the bondage of sin.   We are back in Wisconsin wrapping up a few things and we hope this is our last trip to the property and soon it will belong to someone else as we move on down the road.  It's really shown us how much bondage a person can set themselves in with possessions if they are not careful.  I have moved 24 times in my life and for many years I lived a disposable life.  I would get by on the bare minimum and be able to just give back to the thrift store what big items I had purchased and moved on with very little.  It was easy to move but as I got older and the moves were further in between I began to accumulate more stuff.

A Pound of Flesh

Image
Good morning Sisters! (Edited to add: This post has caused much controversy since being brought up by someone in a forum on the internet.  My words have been twisted and true discernment has not been used on our websites to 'clearly' see what we teach is from God's word.')  Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:  Yet I will rejoice in the  Lord , I will joy in the God of my salvation. Habakkuk 3:17-18 Israel went through some trying times (because of their sins of course) yet those who were truly of God within them, held on and praised Him.  Let us do the same! You might wonder what my title means by 'a pound of flesh'.  Some of you from other countries or those of you who are younger, might not have heard that expression....it means that someone got a litt
