Sweet Smelling Savour Instead of Stench
Good day sister saints! Praise the Lord for such a beautiful day, breezy and not too warm yet. The birds are singing, the critters are all over the forest and I'm enjoying it while I type this to you. Brother Jim offered this idea as a post when I was appreciating and giving God glory for the beautiful flowers that are blooming all over. He referenced the sweet smelling savour that God's Word talks about so I thought I'd list a few of the MANY verses that show us what was (in the Old Testament) and what is (in the New Testament) for us today as well as examples of what would be a sweet smelling savour to God, in our lives lived for Him as godly women. We see that the sacrifices unto the Lord, when done with right hearts for Him were well received: And Noah builded an altar unto the Lord ; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. And the Lord smelled a sweet savour; and the Lord said in his heart, I will not again
