Welcome to our Homestead

Greetings to my faithful sisters! Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.  For the Lord thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;  A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey;  A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass.   When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the Lord thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.  Beware that thou forget not the Lord thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:  Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein ;   And when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multipl

Homestead Break

Greetings sisters in Christ! In the last post (click HERE to read it) I shared how we are doing some changes on the van and said I'd let you know where we are.   Well...as we were leaving the southeastern states, we were planning on coming back to Missouri to sell our homestead but just as we got here, the panic of Corona started.  After some discussion, brother Jim decided that we will hold on to the property for the time being it costs us virtually nothing ($20 / month taxes) to maintain yet we would still be out on the road preaching the gospel.  (The goal is to use our homestead for a sanctuary for us and potentially other believers.  It seems wise to do so in these times.) So for a short while we will be here getting projects done and preparing to hit the road again. In case you haven't seen my previous posts about this place, we bought a raw piece of land in Missouri, cut down trees and cleared the land by hand... ...pulled on an old camper.
