Tofu, Trucks and Triumph

Greetings to our sister saints around the world! Praise the Lord that we get to send such encouragement to everyone with the press of a button.  Obviously satan will use this technology for His ill will but for the time being we shall shine our light in it!  Today as we were traveling we were greeted with passersby's (flying like 80 mph) honking angrily and giving obscene gestures but our light was shining.  (As a side note, they like to drive fast around here!)  I grew up when it was a big deal to make it as fast as 55 mph in our old vehicles and since then the vehicles go like crazy and the roads are opened for it.  In fact, one area through Oklahoma says you cannot go under 60 mph.  So you would get a ticket for wanting to go slower and be safe?  I don't know about this world, and we constantly see signs stating the death count on the highways for that state, like 686 and its not the end of the year yet.   Anyway, today was a travel day and then brother Jim changed the oil

My Slice of Humble Pie

Image
Good day sisters:-) We godly women learn something new every day don't we?  Whether it's through experiences, self reflection or 'seeing' something in the Word. Recently I learned something more about myself. There's an old saying about taking your slice of humble pie...meaning a person was humbled.  Brought from a lofty position of which they thought they held, down to one of a realistic level.  That was me, just yesterday. We were in a parking lot where the beggars like to hang out and the spot we parked was by some women who had a Jesus sign.  I wrote about that HERE .  So, I go into the grocery store and it was only a couple minutes after I came out that a man pulled up to talk to brother Jim.  I heard Jim say to the man (as I was walking up by him) that we are not with those beggars.  We support ourselves and don't take anyone's money.  Right then I was like " As soon as this man leaves we gotta move.  We can't be thought of as begging ."

Religious Roadside Confusion

Good evening sister saints all over the world!!! Our evening is rainy, how is it by you? We're all set for the night, cozied up in our van with the little heater going.  We're thankful for the few comforts we do have in this van life and never take them for granted.  Our day was joyous in the Lord as we traveled into a new state. We haven't been here for a couple years and back then we called out a religious cult.  Literally, they have some creepy things about them, beware of Church of Wells.  You can see a testing on them HERE . I won't go into the all the details but one pertains to the death of a newborn infant among other dangerous things.  After we were there and brother Jim talked to their deacon, we received a wicked, threatening phone call...coincidence?  Anyway, it looks like we may be back in that area again, Lord wiling, and we pray there is a sheep that might come out.  We've been contacted by many people who have either come out or decided not to join b

Giving the Gospel and Selling His Name

Image
Good evening obedient, joyful sister saints! I pray that greeting suits you today? I have been pondering the peace and joy we have as godly saints, thankful for being set free from the agony of being under the rule of satan.  When I was born again, that peace and joy were such a gift, a relief knowing that I belong to the most High God and that He is my Fatherly protection.  It's a priceless gift, that sense of peace...let us never take that for granted. I thought you might like this picture...it speaks volumes to me. The gospel good news, in the hands of an older man that leaned on our van for quite a while, talking with brother Jim.  He was given a lot to think about and we could tell that some of it really convicted him. Praise the Lord:-) And then we saw this. If you look close you can see our Saviors name on their begging cart...wicked women using our Saviors name to get money from people, I hope they repent.  They packed up and walked off shortly after we pulled in.  There w

Hateful Hypocrites and Heavenly Help

Image
Good evening sisters in Christ! I hope your day is joyous in the Lord and you are striving on past this wicked world and satans ways to try to dissuade us.  We have the Lord God Almighty on our side!  We were street preaching & flying signs outside a Salvation Army location, which by the way are totally unbiblical and the people there today were wicked. At one point, a man that works at the Salvation Army jumped in his car, squealed around the corner just inches from us because he was mad.  Later, as we were leaving and that man was coming back, he saw us coming, stepped on the gas, swerved in our lane right in front of us and almost caused a head on collision. And as always, there was a lot of wicked feminism there, you can see it on some of the videos. There was an irritated homeless man who was lurking around our van, brother Jim had me get a food bag for him (you can see the video) and after we walked off, he was across the street yelling things while brother Jim preached....he

Thankfulness in the Lord

Greetings fellow sisters in Christ! Let's praise the Lord for all the good things He gives us, especially the hope of eternal life.  We can never tire of the excitement of that upcoming event, can we?  It's the hope that helps press us on, knowing that the Messiah walked before us, paving the way so that we could follow after Him.  That joy and peace inside us is priceless and that is what we want others to have. And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him ; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. Revelation 4:8 We've arrived at our destination for the next 2 nights and it wasn't long after being here that a man walked up to our van and opened the conversation about the Lord. You can listen to it < HERE >.  Brother Jim and I just look at each other after these events occur, and think back on the day and how it lined up perfectly for God's wi
