Encouragement for Christian Sisters

Greetings sisters in Christ! Praise the Lord for this day as all good things come from Him! Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. James 1:17  We were blessed to see 6 of our grandchildren in 2 days:-) A while ago we sent our picture to them and I said to two of the girls (7 and 5), " we wanted to make sure they don't forget who we are ."  The youngest said " We remember you because you love God! ". What a way to be remembered, how awesome!  Our testimony to those young children will be known as the as  Papa and Nana who love God:-) Earlier, the girls wanted me to show them our van again while Papa spent time with our grandson. While we were sitting in there talking, I told them that we don't just drive around for fun, we do it to share the gospel and help people understand the truth.  The youngest asked what a gospel was so I explained in 5 yea

Greetings Sisters in Christ! We received a precious gift from a believing family and I wanted to share with you... Ducklings A cottage. Two hand crafted pictures for us from a sweet little girl in Bulgaria.  Her parents were born again about the same time a couple years ago and they are raising their daughter in the ways of the Lord, for that we rejoice! Instead of putting pictures on the refrigerator :-) I will put them here for all sisters and their children to enjoy.   We were also blessed to see her mother created a rain skirt, what a unique idea!  They bought a rain poncho and she cut the skirt from it, sewed it up and now their little girl has a skirt to keep her dry in the rain :-)  I may have to look into doing that for myself! Use your creativity and if you have children you can train them to use theirs for the good of the Lord. Have a joyous day sisters.
