Seeking Encouragement and Sharing It With You

Image
Greetings sisters, I was seeking encouragement from Psalms and wanted to share with you!   O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;   To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.  Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.  Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.  My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:   When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.   Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.   My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me. Psalm 63:1-8  How uplifting when we look to the things of God and not that which is surrounding us.  It's true you know, when adv...

Hateful Hypocrites and Heavenly Help

Image
Good evening sisters in Christ! I hope your day is joyous in the Lord and you are striving on past this wicked world and satans ways to try to dissuade us.  We have the Lord God Almighty on our side!  We were street preaching & flying signs outside a Salvation Army location, which by the way are totally unbiblical and the people there today were wicked. At one point, a man that works at the Salvation Army jumped in his car, squealed around the corner just inches from us because he was mad.  Later, as we were leaving and that man was coming back, he saw us coming, stepped on the gas, swerved in our lane right in front of us and almost caused a head on collision. And as always, there was a lot of wicked feminism there, you can see it on some of the videos. There was an irritated homeless man who was lurking around our van, brother Jim had me get a food bag for him (you can see the video) and after we walked off, he was across the street yelling things while brother...

Sending Sisterly Love

Image
Good day sisters! Just last night brother Jim dug out his drawing board and asked if I wanted a picture.  My reply was that I would like whatever the Lord put on his heart to draw for me that I could share with you all.  I thought was he drew was perfect for what I have been wanting to share:-) But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.  Deuteronomy 4:29  We can get so wrapped up in our duties on this earth (working a job, being a servant, being a wife, being a mother, hearing the news, enduring hardships etc) that we allow our flesh to cloud us and not be as sharp to recognize when we are being drained.   It doesn't take much to fill us back up if we stop and allow ourselves to absorb the Word of God and let Him do a work in us.  For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. [17] For our light aff...

Walmart Witnessing and Work

Image
Greetings sisters in Christ! How is your day going?  We are doing well here, thankful to the Lord, traveling and working.  Yes, I haven't said much about it but brother Jim and I still work, as a team, using our skills from our past office jobs and being mobile as we go. Praise God it allows us to continue to do what we do for the Lord, we are so thankful!!! This morning a woman drove up to our van while we were still in the Walmart parking lot.  She claimed to be like us (that's what she said), in ministry, yet she said it was in a way nobody knew. (Not sure how that works?)  I got out of the van to give her a gospel card and as soon as she laid eyes on me, her demeanor changed, not for the good.  I spoke to her for a short time and when we saw she was a very contentious woman, I stopped and brother Jim held her hard to God's word.  She tried to talk all over him, saying that her pastor teaches from the bible but when asked if they celebrate Christ-mass sh...

A Peaceful Place to Park

Image
Greetings sisters in Christ! I pray you are striving on and not being led astray by fear, doubt, false doctrine, weak flesh etc.  Stand strong on the Word and you will stand strong in this World.  We have been very busy in the ministry and we see the older we get and the longer we walk this path of truth in Christ, the more we have to remind ourselves to keep our focus where it is most important and not allow distractions.  You can imagine what sort of contact we have from people, oftentimes helping them out tremendously only to have them do what looks to be, tossing the truth aside to follow their own way.  (We pray seeds were planted.)  We can be stretched very thin if we don't remember to keep those 'boundaries'.  Brother Jim is going to do a teaching on personal help vs spiritual help and I'll share it when he does.  It's too easy to become too involved in people's personal lives and it takes the focus of what we are here for, to strengthen a...

Striving Daily

Image
Greetings sisters in Christ around the world! How wonderful to know that God has His people, all over, shining their light and bringing Him glory! We daughters of the most High, have our own callings, in our own places and we are all to do what we do to the best of our ability, rejoicing for the opportunity to do so.  I can still feel the residue of my past wretched life, at times, and it only serves to press me on more!  When we encounter trials and tribulations, it makes me strive harder.  When people come at us from all different directions or we endure much vexation from the world on a daily basis, it presses me on to be even more steadfast in my walk.  I pray that is so with you also! The more you walk, the stronger you get, we see that in the saints all over.     11  According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: 12  In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. 13  Wherefore...

Peace, Projection and Perfection

Image
Greetings sisters in Christ, Are you ready for a new change of season?  I was going to ask if you are ready for spring but some of you are in different parts of the world with another season coming upon you :-) We are thankful to be able to walk in the country around our land, it's peaceful. The gravel roads border almost the entire piece and there is virtually no traffic on them. (These gravel roads are pretty nice compared to some in the state.  Check out this one  here  I posted about.)   We are taking one day at a time and not getting anxious about anything.  With the powers in the world, doing what they do, we're going to have to improvise a bit in our travels which is perfect for what brother Jim's already planning for changes on the van.  I've been looking into some apps for trucker parking in case they shut down our normal parking spots.   And we have a new addition to the van. It's attached to the CB...
