Striving Daily

Greetings sisters in Christ around the world!

How wonderful to know that God has His people, all over, shining their light and bringing Him glory! We daughters of the most High, have our own callings, in our own places and we are all to do what we do to the best of our ability, rejoicing for the opportunity to do so.  I can still feel the residue of my past wretched life, at times, and it only serves to press me on more!  When we encounter trials and tribulations, it makes me strive harder.  When people come at us from all different directions or we endure much vexation from the world on a daily basis, it presses me on to be even more steadfast in my walk.  I pray that is so with you also! The more you walk, the stronger you get, we see that in the saints all over.

 11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

13 Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.

14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Ephesians 3:11-19

The Lord has been keeping us very busy as we have contact with people who are coming out of man made religion and also on the other hand, mockers of the truth.  The work of an evangelist (brother Jim) and me as his helper, keep us very busy and we are thankful to do so:-)  Lord willing we will continue to be traveling full time for years to come, lest satan gets his way sooner and shuts things down even more.  All we have is today and let us all be faithful in each day that the Lord gives us and be content that His will be done.

We rolled into our destination today and minutes later a car pulled up with 2 men who have left man made religion and wanted to talk about truth.  They invited us back to bible study and lunch the next time we come through the area, praise God, His timing is perfect!

Before we went out on the streets today, I had to catch up with my duties in our little van home so we went to a park that had a water spout so I washed clothes.  There was even some sun for the short time we were there as I let them drip before bringing them in the van to dry for the rest of the day or next day, however long it takes them to get to that point.

We've been bombed with almost a week straight of rain during our travels, which makes it a flesh killer in mobile life but we continue to rejoice in all things. Let us remember that, no matter what the circumstances, we are to have that peace and joy that our Savior promises, lest we make Him out to be a liar, in front of the world.  If we worry and are shut down like the world, we are like them are we not?  We should be joyously shining our light, being a willing servant to whomever the Lord has put in our life (children, husband, family, jobs etc)  and patiently enduring in this life in hopes that we will affect someone along the way.  If you were in your situation until the day you die (which you may be) could you be joyous through it?  If not, you need to check your heart because you are relying on your circumstances to dictate your peace and joy that only Jesus is to dictate. The disciples rejoiced when they were beaten, sang in prison and endured much hardships that we may never see, yet we are encouraged by their lives lived for Christ. Amen, what a joy to serve the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.  He is our Alpha and Omega, the beginning and end. Let us strive on sisters.

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

Titus 2:13

How are your days going?  Are you striving to the glory of God in them in peace and joy?

I pray your evening is peaceful and that you rest well for another day of it tomorrow!

Blessings to you in the love of our Savior,

Sister Deb
