Refreshing Vinegar Drink

Image
Greetings to my Titus 2 Sisters! This is just a quick post to share an inexpensive, tasty and nourishing vinegar drink with you. I know, a lot of people can't think of vinegar as being something they want to drink but once you get used to it, it's awesome.  They sell these drinks in the stores for $2.50-$3 each and we can make them for pennies. Its super easy: There are a lot of benefits to apple cider vinegar, you can look it up and see for yourself and decide. We are blessed to be able to do good things for the people in our lives and maybe this will be something you are thankful for.  If not then that's okay too :-) Love to you all, Sister Deb And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward. Matthew 10:42

Plant Based Milks (Oat and Nut)

Image
Greetings to my Titus 2 Sister saints! I thought I'd just share my experience with making some plant based milks and not that I'm against regular milk, I was just looking to see what other options there are. I'll share a couple simple ideas for those of you who might be interested, for whatever reason you might have, and maybe it'll be a Titus 2 blessing for you. I'm not fond of all the fillers they put in their plant based milks in the store nor do I want to pay the price for the natural ones (sometimes I'll buy one if it's on a great discount) and these here are very inexpensive and super easy to do. We'll start with the oat milk.  All you need to do is blend oats with water (for a minute or two) and then strain.   (You can use any kind of blender you have.) You can then use the oat left overs for your breakfast or cooking or whatever you want. Once you strain out the oats (I used just a regular strainer but some people use cloth which seems more work

Mini Micro Cake Recipe

Image
Greetings to my Titus 2 sister saints!   I just wanted to share this simple recipe for mini micro cakes. (On the internet they call them mug cakes).  They are super simple and awesome because you can quickly bless unexpected guests with a treat in less than a few minutes and they are great for van life! Have a joyous day in the Lord. Sister Deb

A Godly Woman's Witness Without a Word (and Titus 2 recipes)

Image
Good day to our godly, holy sister saints! Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.   John 8:12  I made an audio to encourage us sisters in our silent witness to the world... Praise God we get to partake of His precious truth and promises! (You can go HERE to listen to it on the sisters audio page.) And of course more Titus 2 works going on.  I had some cans of lentils and lentil soup that I can't eat anymore so I'll show you how I recycle them into a yummy dip for brother James.    And more of my soup making:-) I thought I'd try something really simple like potato green bean soup with onion and garlic. I was chopping garlic and admiring how God has it all packaged up in protective covering.   When I think of garlic, this comes to mind... We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the

Single Serving Chocolate Chia Pudding

Image
Greetings sister saints! Here's a simple chia pudding recipe for one serving that I use both on the homestead and in the van life. I'll show you how simple it is then summarize at the end for you. See how simple that is?  Let's look at the recipe:-) Ingredients: 1 Tablespoon Chia seeds 1 Teaspoon cocoa 1 Stevia packet  4 Tablespoons of milk Mix Wait a couple minutes and mix again to make sure there are no lumps (I mix it here and there while I'm doing other things) Put in the refrigerator and I usually let it sit for most of a day if not overnight. It's great with a dab of yogurt on it too. So there you go a simple Titus 2 recipe for those who are not wanting a big batch (which doesn't always work in tiny house or off grid or van life lol.) I'm thankful for healthy foods from the Father. Love in Christ, Sister Deb   And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. 1 Timothy 6:8

Anabaptist Feminism

Image
Greetings sister saints! I'm so thankful for my true sisters in Christ who have rejected feminism (forsaken and repented of it) and are now willingly serving the Lord in obedience to His commands.  I think I've shared this issue in the past, about feminism in the anabaptist world but something came up again so I thought I'd revisit the issue as a good reminder to us all and to expose what is a cancer in the anabaptist people that many don't see.  Beware, just because they look and act a bit different, that's not the test of a true disciple, the WORD OF GOD is the test and how someones fruit lines up to it is what we look for.  At the end of this post I'll share some links from brother James testings and our witnessing experiences with them. I did make an audio to share with you sisters what I have seen for feminism in their groups, and I do it because I love you and want you to be warned and I love them and hope they repent.  It's about redemption, not reven

Woodstove Cooking and Sharing Videos of our Day

Image
Greetings to our godly sisters :-) How are you all today?   I just shared 1 Thessalonians 1 with some sisters and I wanted to share this verse with you. And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.   1 Thessalonians 1:10  If we truly are the saints of God, and we endure through this life in a saving faith in obedience to Him, we will be delivered from His wrath to come.  What an awesome promise that is!  To be delivered from the grips of Satan and into the hands of God, words can't even describe the magnitude of what an awesome blessing that is!  It's all because of Christ and the precious new life we get through the GOSPEL . I thought I would do a series of videos and bring you along in our day of two saints who love the Lord, just going about our day in thankfulness to Him. I did some wood stove cooking.... And while that was cooking I took you with me to walk over to see what brother James was up to

What Are You Living For?

Image
Good evening sister saints!!! "What are you living for?" Brother Jim asks that question out on the streets and then asks if they are living for the world and the lusts of the flesh or for Christ and eternity. Our thoughts, our actions and our deeds all show who and what we are living for.   For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.   Galatians 1:10  If we are of Christ we are to live and serve Him, thereby crucifying the flesh and walking in the Spirit. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.   If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.   Galatians 5:24-25  Not living for what the world does (riches, beauty, fame, possessions, reputations, glory of man etc)... Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?  (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for

Super Simple Thermos Soup

Image
Good day sister saints! Here's a quick post of a link to a video of a simple thermos soup we like and it's great for van life. Click HERE to see it. (Brother Jim links to these type posts in his van dweller page so I like to keep them separate in addition to regular posts.)  Glory to God for simple Titus 2 jobs and nourishment for our body so we can keep doing the Lord's work. Love to you all. Sister Deb

Simple Iced Coffee

Image
Greetings sister saints! This is just a quick post on how I make inexpensive iced coffees that are minimal and simple for van life.   Brother Jim likes to link these type recipes to his van dwelling tip page (you can find that HERE ) so I'll keep it short. Obviously you could add different ingredients and vary the measurements but this is a baseline recipe. Praise God for simple healthy treats like this and we don't waste much time on them so that we can focus on what's important....sharing the GOSPEL with the lost. Love to you all, Sister Deb

Good Within the Bad

Image
Good evening sisters!   Let us give thanks unto the Lord for this day and use it for Him! I made an audio for you called 'good within the bad', you can find that HERE  if you are interested:-)  I just felt led to share about the good that is not always seen within the bad, while we're out on the streets. Let it glorify God that His Word is doing what it should! (That picture above is from when I got to witness to that sweet older lady who had the illnesses, I wrote about it on the sisters blog several days ago.) And here's a video from brother Jim and I about our hearts when it comes to going out on the streets. Let's rejoice and give God glory for His amazing creation! Psalm 30:12  To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever. A big snail floating by... And a cute bird taking a bath... Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodnes
