Good Within the Bad
Good evening sisters!
Let us give thanks unto the Lord for this day and use it for Him!
I made an audio for you called 'good within the bad', you can find that HERE if you are interested:-) I just felt led to share about the good that is not always seen within the bad, while we're out on the streets. Let it glorify God that His Word is doing what it should!
(That picture above is from when I got to witness to that sweet older lady who had the illnesses, I wrote about it on the sisters blog several days ago.)
And here's a video from brother Jim and I about our hearts when it comes to going out on the streets.
And a cute bird taking a bath...
Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. Romans 11:22
Goodness and severity...most people only look at the goodness and try to partake of it, overlooking the severity. Out on the street we see both goodness and severity when dealing with all sorts of people. Some get kind living words of encouragement and some get a rebuke.
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;.
2 Thessalonians 1:8-9
Brother Jim just warned a false teacher in a house Church body about that verse. We weren't even supposed to be in this town but decided to travel today so we went to a park to work on line when we were invited to a house church meeting that was going on in the park. We waited until they were finished and then brother Jim went over to talk to them. They had some terrible theology and were far from the truth and in the end he swore at us and his biblically naked and uncovered wife laughed about how the breeze felt good in her hair. It was wicked. But the good within the bad is that God's glory was upheld and a false teacher was rebuked. (Maybe someone there got some seeds planted?)
Let's listen to something good. God's awesome frogs singing...
And here's something else good, God's precious Word going out.
Ok, I have to go for now but Lord willing we can meet here again tomorrow. Let's all rejoice in the Lord together!
Thank you sister for the scripture pictures!
Oh, before I go... HERE'S an update from brother Jim.
Much love to you all,
Sister Deb
