On Time

Image
🌻 Good evening sisters! 🌻 I hope you are all well :-)  Let us rejoice and praise the Lord on this day as we don't know if we will get another one and who wants regrets?  Not me!  Our time is the Lord's anyway so we do what we can in the days we have and make sure we are always prioritizing them correctly, the best we can.  Today I prioritized a video for you, reading Psalm 8 :-) Hopefully it's an encouragement and lifts you up! Some days we can only do so much and we can't get upset about our days not going the way we want and we didn't get done what we planned on as we are to be content in much and little.  Now on the other hand if we squandered away our time in the day and then tried to catch up, that is our own fault and we need to repent and do better.  That would most certainly qualify for having regrets so lets constantly examine ourselves to make sure we are making best use of our time. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeemi

Being Content with Food and Raiment, How it Pertains to a Godly Woman (with audio)

Greetings sister saints! Brother Jim shares this picture. He said to look at a deeper meaning to it. t's dark out and the store is in the background....look for the beautiful and peaceful things in this life.  Something so simple can bring such peace and joy from the Father.  It sort of goes with my audio about being content... Anyway, you can listen to it HERE if you choose to do so. Hopefully that encourages some of you :-) Interesting thing...as I'm working on this post I'm getting a little upset at my glasses because they are so loose they are causing me issues.  Loose glasses are a blessing because without them I can't see.  Self rebuke! Today has been eventful in witnessing even though we haven't gone far as we're waiting for a few packages to come in, for our trip.  In one instance a man from Alaska told brother Jim his wife died and he ended up moving down to this area, which lead to an awesome witnessing where the man cried and thanked brother Jim for

Grumbling or Gratefulness

Image
Good day sister saints! As a Titus 2 godly woman I often think ( while I'm cooking)  of the manna that the Israelites were given from God.  He gave them the gift of freedom from the Egyptians and provided for them but we see that they soon began being ungrateful and grumbling.   And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat? We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick: But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes. Numbers 11:4-6  And what happened? And the people stood up all that day, and all that night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails: he that gathered least gathered ten homers: and they spread them all abroad for themselves round about the camp. And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, ere it was chewed, the wrath of the

Being Quietly Content

Image
Greetings sisters in Christ! Let us rejoice in this day, where God has us, and strive on until He brings us home.  Today I want to talk about being quietly content.  1 Peter 3 tells us godly women that we should have a meek and quiet spirit and if we explore that meaning we see it is  ' mildness of disposition, humble, gentleness ' and it stems from trust in God's goodness and control over a situation.  Quiet is ' still, undisturbing, keeping one's seat, peaceable quiet, tranquil '.  That draws a picture of a quiet woman who is content to allow God to take over and she is mild and peaceable in her spirit.  That's an attribute that is not something that you just ' do ', it's something you ' become '.  It becomes a part of who you are and your spirit will reflect that.  Let me ask you this...shouldn't a woman who has a meek and quiet spirit, also be content?  Of course God's word tells all believers to be content in all things as w

No Water but There's a Lake!

Image
Greetings sisters in Christ! Praise God for yet another day. I know I say it all the time but I mean it.  Let us not 'look back' but remember why we are who we are today!  It's all of the Father and what our Savior did. Amen. We were on a search for water to fill up our washing station and extra jugs but no matter where we went (even the ones listed with having water available), we found none.  We look for complimentary water for customers who purchase from the gas stations but in this area it's slim pickings for such things but we weren't worried.  As we were driving along the highway brother Jim said  ' Hey, we can get water from a lake or river. ' (We've done it before.) And wouldn't you know it, the town we were going to has a beautiful river and lake going right through it with a nice park by it. We stopped and filled up with water while praising God for providing for us! Brother Jim filled up the water jugs, praise God. Y
