All Sorts of Things!

Greetings sisters in Christ! Praise the Lord for being busy, amen?  Sometimes we are all busier than others as we know there are times and seasons for all things; let's read about it in God's Word. 1To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2  A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3  A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4  A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5  A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6  A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; 7  A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 8  A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. 9  What profit hath he th...

Motorcycles and Mangos in Montana with God's Perfect Timing

Greetings sisters in Christ! How are you doing today?  Are you striving in truth, looking to our King who will come to bring us home with Him some day?  We must be patient in that, enduring through this life to gain the next.  Praise God for His mercies and forgiveness for those who repent and follow after Him in obedience. We've had quite the day today so I thought I'd share it with you!  As always, we never make concrete plans in this life, allowing for the Spirit to lead, which is just what happened today.  We had a general area we were planning on heading and brother Jim mentioned we might be going to a place we've never been, at some point this week.  He told me to look into our overnight parking options ahead of time in case that's where we went.  In the meantime we'd been talking about this free city park campspot (we were at a couple years ago on the way through) that's along the way and maybe staying there for a day or two to catch up on s...

A Refuge

Image
Greetings sisters in Christ! Before we left to go on the road preaching the gospel we saw a couple awesome sights I wanted to share with you, in reference to a refuge. First of all, brother Jim looked inside this big kettle that was hanging under the roof of the outside of his shop: This is what he found... Sweet little baby birds, in a safe refuge.  We stood still and it wasn't long before they were fed and the (male or female whichever it was) cleaned the nest and went back out for more food. A few days before we found these birds we had a pretty strong storm pass through the area.  A few times the rain was flying totally horizontal and the trees were whipping around fiercely.  Brother Jim went on the porch to check on something and found this: The poor little thing must have gotten tossed on our porch and he waited right there until the storm passed a while later.  I expanded the video view when I took it so you could see ...

God's Timing

Greetings sisters in Christ, Praise God for another day to give Him glory and thanks for setting before us, the hope of eternal life. While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18 Hold fast sisters, the day of our redemption is drawing nearer and I pray you (and I) all stand strong in the truth.  In His timing, we will go home and be with Him eternally, not worrying any longer about the cares of this world.   The other day I was cleaning out and rearranging our van and it struck me that I had been forgetting God's timing and how things are laid out according to His plan, not ours.  I flashed back to when we were running our carving business and we noticed that when the ministry was very busy, our carving work slowed down.  There were times I began to get concerned but through all that I learned that G...
