Old Farm Gear and Traveling without Fear

Image
Good evening sister saints!   I have a lot of videos for you if you are interested, just sharing my day with you like as if you were here along with. (Sorry for poor quality videos but I can't do anything about that:-) (Thank you faithful saint for the scripture picture:-) We parked at a Cracker Barrel last night and had a nice quiet spot of which we are thankful:-)  (That's where the picture above was taken.) When we woke up, brother Jim went for a little walk and found a bunch of old farm equipment and sent me over to make videos for you:-)   It's comforting to think about the old ways things were done... ...instead of the fast paced convenient world we live in today. And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: (Genesis 3:14) Their days were harder but less complicated. And it wasn't a di...

Fear and Being Refreshed

Image
Good evening sisters! I hope you are all doing well today, looking for the hope ahead if we endure!  Today was very refreshing for us as we met another believer, a man living in his van in a parking lot.  Brother Jim met him last night and they talked a long while all about the the Lord.  This morning I made a cup of coffee for him and brother Jim took it over and talked for quite some time and then brother Jim offered lunch.  I was thankful that I had some coupons for pizza and we shared a delicious lunch all the while sitting in the parking lot talking about the Lord and His Word. He's got a child like faith with much knowledge in the truth, wanting to please the Lord in all ways and in fact, immediately made some changes to his life when shown in the word.  He said many times how he loves God, that's rare for us to hear and also showed godly love toward other saints.   Brotherly hugs were given and brother Jim offered daily encouragement and a...

Fighting Fear and God's Beautiful Creation

Image
Greetings sisters in Christ! Praise the Lord for all good things, blessings and peace unto you in the name of our Lord and Savior! A sister shared a story of which she had some fear from a storm but repented of it and it reminded me of some fear I had recently.  I shared here on the blog a while ago how we had to move to another parking spot in the dark, out in the wilderness of which we were unfamiliar with some of the roads. We rarely drive after dark anymore and the road we were on was very bumpy, windy and hilly with a deep gorge on one side.  I admit, I had fear and but kept telling myself that fear is not of God and just as I repented, brother Jim pulled us into a nice spot, praise God, He is merciful! Fear is not of God, for His children.  Let's remember the disciples on the boat while Jesus slept, 1 John 4 says perfect love casts out fear and we are not to fear them that can kill the body (Matthew 10).  Until the day we die, we will continue to have fear...

Dirty Money

Image
Greetings sisters in Christ! Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Revelation 3:20 What an awesome thought, amen sisters?  Some day that will be us children of God, all together as a family, with the Lord.  Until then we must continue to strive on obediently, joyfully and boldly in the truth. As this world unfolds into something we've never seen, I try not to waste too much time on it but I wanted to share this with you.  See this bag of money? We used cash to pay for something and after passing it under a big plexiglas shield, into the plastic gloved hands of a person on the other side making a strange face about it, we received this change back in a bag.  Brother Jim and I were dumbfounded at the idiocracy of what is going on in this world.  For a brief moment it almost made my cry because this all makes me feel dirty and defeated...

Our Savior Said It Would be So

Image
Greetings sisters in Christ, I pray you are standing strong against the wiles of the devil who is out to try to destroy all of mankind.  The world is in the process of another step toward the end times and the anti-christ rising.  It's clear to see the power play behind such things and we as born again followers of Christ need to be a strong witness for those around us, not joining in with them and their fears.  The sad thing is, their fears are about self preservation, not what's coming in eternity.  Let us shine our light for them to see and show them the way. Our Savior said it would be so and we see some coming to pass. 1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. 2  And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. 3  And as he sat upon the moun...

Corona Virus Fear Or Wisdom

Greetings sisters in Christ. During this.....um....? pandemic ? there seems to be a lot of panic and fear.  We as believers need to see the scriptures for what our Savior said it would be and know the end times are coming.  Satan thinks he's in control (has has much control allowed to him from God) but we know our Father is ultimately in control and if we endure through this life, to the end, in a saving faith, obediently following our Savior, we will be set free from this life and enter into eternal life in heaven.   I wanted to share brother Jim's encouragement  in light of what satan is doing in the world today, by causing this mass panic and world wide....whatever.  Feel free to listen to it with your husband. We are not of this world sisters.  10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12  ...

The Power of God

Greetings to our sisters in Christ. I saw in my notes about a woman I witnessed to a while back and wanted to share it with you. Brother Jim and I were taking our morning walk and went past one of those expensive nutrition stores and in the window I saw a  'CLEARANCE' sign on a table full of nutritional bars.  I said to brother Jim that maybe we should check it out to see if there would be anything for us, so we went inside.  The woman said that they were 75% off and some were buy one, get one half off and then the 75% off...she spoke to my frugal keeper at home heart :-) We found some incredible deals and she was happy to get them off the shelf and not have to toss them.  Brother Jim went outside to wait while I checked out and I had a good conversation with her, explaining that we are born again Christians, brother Jim is an evangelist, and we have given up our lives to share the gospel all over the country. I gave her a gospel card and explained how man ...
