Dirty Money

Greetings sisters in Christ!

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Revelation 3:20

What an awesome thought, amen sisters?  Some day that will be us children of God, all together as a family, with the Lord.  Until then we must continue to strive on obediently, joyfully and boldly in the truth.

As this world unfolds into something we've never seen, I try not to waste too much time on it but I wanted to share this with you.

See this bag of money?

We used cash to pay for something and after passing it under a big plexiglas shield, into the plastic gloved hands of a person on the other side making a strange face about it, we received this change back in a bag.

Brother Jim and I were dumbfounded at the idiocracy of what is going on in this world.  For a brief moment it almost made my cry because this all makes me feel dirty and defeated but then I had a flash of righteous anger at satan and how he's creating the opposite of God in every way.

God has washed His people clean with the blood of Christ and will continue to love and cleanse us if we repent from our sins as we walk in holiness and obedience.  Satan on the other hand wants people to feel dirty and estranged....just like we see in the culture today. It's weird as we walk through a store, smiling at people, and they just glare or stare at you. Some move back out of the way, looking away from you in fear, as the thought of a speck of something in the air between you terrifies them.  Uncomfortable situations arise when you walk around the end of an aisle and come close to another person. While you want to respect their choice of fear and keep your distance, you don't know if they are thinking you are in fear and are trying to stay clear of you as well.  Walking up to the yogurt section can cause panic in the person who was already there, looking at you as if you are coming to attack them.  As you stand on the taped 'X' by the checkout stand you notice the plastic shield between the customer and the clerk. When it's your turn to advance to the next carefully placed 'X' you wait patiently behind the see-through wall until it's time for you to pay.  One small step to the right takes you out from behind the plastic shield and into the line of fire of the checkout person, right next to the bagger. (It makes you wonder the mentality of the engineer behind that idea.)  As you walk out the door, the person leaving the next lane jerks to a stop and leaves a wide berth as you exit.

Some of you might think I take virus issues lightly. No, I don't.  I realize there are viruses that kill people.  They've been on this earth for many years, and they've killed many people (some of whom we knew) long before this one came to be.  But I do see the propaganda behind them and I see the leader of them (satan) manipulating this world to his glory.  He's created a world where neighbors are enemies.

God's kingdom is opposite of fear and separation.  The love of the brethren brings them together in unity of the faith; helping and encouraging one another. They are thankful that the Lord and Creator of the universe has washed them clean and offers them eternal life if they endure through this world.  Love abounds through His people....not fear, not panic and they love not their lives unto death while they go and share the love of God, through the gospel, with their neighbors.  If it was difficult to speak to people about the things of God before this all started, it's even harder now.  If we saw this world as not our own before, we fit in even less now...seeing it as a surreal event manifesting before our eyes while the blind go about falling into ditches.

We must hold fast and stand strong because each day brings us closer to our redemption and our shining light is a testimony to this dark world.  When all those around are in a panic and fear, we need to be bold and show the strength of our Awesome Father in heaven, within us.

These times are a great strengthening for us all so don't let satan pull you down.  Put on your armor, sharpen your sword and always be prepared for battle.

Praise God, we know the outcome and who wins in the end!

Show the world what it's like to have the strength of the Lord on your side.

I have a smile for you. We were watching this little chipmonk crawl up under the water dish and come back out. Brother Jim took this so we could share it with you all.  The peacefulness of God's creation...

Love in Christ,
Sister Deb
