Don't Be Delilah!

Image
🌼 Good afternoon sisters around the 🌎 world 🌍 . I pray you are all standing strong in the Lord and I'm here to encourage you!  📖 We just recently had another issue of a feminist woman reaching out to us and it prompted me to make an audio called 'Don't be a Delilah' you can find that HERE if you are interested.  Let us forsake feminism and become what God has created us to be, godly women who love and serve Him!  Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.   Isaiah 40:28 I took you on a walk to share God's glorious creation. But I am the Lord thy God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The Lord of hosts is his name.  And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people

Win Him Without A Word But Don't Wait

Greetings, love and blessings to our faithful sisters in Christ! I pray you are standing strong on the Word and not letting anyone or circumstances sway you from the truth!   Today I want to give encouragement to sisters who are married to professed believers that are not fully obeying the Word whether they just don't see it or are in outright rebellion. We know there are women who are further along in the truth than their professing husbands and I'm here to encourage you to quietly live out your obedience and not be swayed or stumbled by his disobedience. 1 Peter 3 instructs godly women what to do in such situation: Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;  While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.  Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;  But let it be

Women Reaching Out

Image
Greetings sisters in Christ. I pray you are all doing well during this cold season that seems to be starting.  The cycles of life that come upon us, we must endure through them and press on as some day our rest from the weariness of this world, will be rewarded to us! I just wanted to share a bit about women wanting to reach out and encourage other saints.  We just had a situation that I thought would be a good teaching point and I'm sure the one being referenced would not mind as she seems to have a humble heart and is wise enough to want others to learn as well.   The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.  Psalm 34:18 A woman (married to a professed believer) emailed and greatly encouraged us, thanking us for encouraging her.  (She was very kind to do so and we pray for her situation.)  It wasn't long when she mentioned that her husband preferred her not to have discourse with others and obediently backed off the commu

Being Known By Your Fruit

Image
Good evening sisters! Did you have a productive day today?  Were you thanking the Lord for what He has done and all that awaits us if we endure through this life, in honor and obedience to Him?  What a merciful and loving Father we have! Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Luke 6:36 I wanted to share about being known by your fruit and share a story with you.  We are blessed to be able to be in direct contact with our oldest grandson via text and one day brother Jim text him and said 'Guess what we did today?"  You can see his response... That brought us great joy.  (We had actually just made a small package with some goodies in it for him and his sisters and he knows we do that once in a while but he didn't guess that:-)  I shared a post with you a while ago when we visited them and his little sister said (in response to why we sent them a picture of us)  " We remember you because you love God. " You can read that HERE .) It's a great

Should I Obey Even if My Husband Disagrees?

Greetings sisters in Christ! How is your day going?  Are you thanking our Savior for the precious gift given to us, the hope of eternal life, if we endure though this life as faithful obedient saints? 51  Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55  O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56  The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57  But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58  Therefore, my bel

Biblical Dress Vs Modest Dress

Image
Greetings sisters, Below you will read our teaching on biblical dress vs modest dress. I pray it blesses you and encourages you to obey. ****************************************** Quite often while speaking to professed believers or in testing religious body's claiming Christ, we come across the word 'modest' (or conservative) in reference to the clothing of a godly woman.  (In the past we may have used that word incorrectly and as we come across articles with it we will correct it.)  This article is to distinguish the vast difference between the commonly used phrase 'modest dress' vs 'biblical dress'. Please read this article about why we wear clothes: http://spiritandtruthdiscernment.blogspot.com/2017/04/clothing-is-sin-covering.html In 1 Timothy 2 we see in the KJV that women are to 'adorn themselves in modest apparel' and it continues to outline the nature of a woman in many verses.  (Read it for yourself) 11In like manner also

Immediate Obedience

Greetings Sisters! If you heard me sing it would sound like noise but it would be joyful:-)  Have you ever had times where your heart was hurting so bad that you shed tears yet your spirit was uplifted and you could smile or make that joyful noise at the same time in thankfulness for what the Lord has done?  That's the awesome peace He can give us in all situations, IF we allow Him.  The problem is that our sinful flesh wants to hold on to whatever it is that's causing the pain, because we think we can do something about it and if we let it go then it means we are giving up and have lost.  But that's not true, if we give up to God whatever is hurting us, then we have put that situation in the best hands possible and have won the battle against our flesh and satan.  We can then move on, praise God! We've made it to one of our destinations in Wyoming and are thankful for the dry weather and breeze.  The summers out here are nothing compared to anywhere in the US
