Old Farm Gear and Traveling without Fear

Good evening sister saints!

I have a lot of videos for you if you are interested, just sharing my day with you like as if you were here along with. (Sorry for poor quality videos but I can't do anything about that:-)

(Thank you faithful saint for the scripture picture:-)

We parked at a Cracker Barrel last night and had a nice quiet spot of which we are thankful:-)  (That's where the picture above was taken.) When we woke up, brother Jim went for a little walk and found a bunch of old farm equipment and sent me over to make videos for you:-)

It's comforting to think about the old ways things were done...

...instead of the fast paced convenient world we live in today.

And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: (Genesis 3:14)

Their days were harder but less complicated.

And it wasn't a disposable society like it is now...

...where most people take for granted all the foods and goods they can buy.

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. (Psalm 100:1-5)

Before we left the town we stayed in, we were blessed to see this awesomely beautiful tree.

How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, and thy tabernacles, O Israel! As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river's side, as the trees of lign aloes which the Lord hath planted, and as cedar trees beside the waters. (Numbers 24:5-6)

Praise God to our heavenly Father who created it:-)

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. (Jeremiah 17:7-8)

And we then traveled across God's beautiful earth which is way better than man made contraptions:-) And I want to bring this up...how many of you are scared every time you get in the car and drive?  Fearful for an accident every time a car or truck goes by? I'm not, I don't really even think about it...so why do we fear everything else in this life?  Driving down a road has a high risk of death!  We travel major highways all the time and see the signs stating that there were 300 or 500 or 600 deaths so far that year, (whatever the number is.)  Okay, in Florida in one year there were 1,500 traffic deaths, not counting the accidents.  Should we fear whenever we start our vehicle?

Fear should not be a part of a godly woman's life.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)

We are definitely not to fear being a partaker of afflictions of Christ.

Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; (2 Timothy 1:8)

Because He brought life....

But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:10)

And you can see the biblical gospel HERE and find life for yourself if you are not a child of God. I write this blog to true sisters in Christ but I'm sure there are those who aren't and don't even know it so I hope to help them see and test themselves.

We are not to fear man...

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. (Hebrews 13:5-6)

We are to fear God...

Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.  What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.  And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10:26-28)

(See a post from brother Jim about fear HERE.)

Praise the Lord for His mercies are new every morning:-)

(Thank you again steadfast saint:-)

I hope you have a joyous evening sisters:-)

Blessings, love and peace to you all,

Sister Deb
