A Peaceful Place to Park

 Greetings sisters in Christ!

I pray you are striving on and not being led astray by fear, doubt, false doctrine, weak flesh etc.  Stand strong on the Word and you will stand strong in this World.  We have been very busy in the ministry and we see the older we get and the longer we walk this path of truth in Christ, the more we have to remind ourselves to keep our focus where it is most important and not allow distractions.  You can imagine what sort of contact we have from people, oftentimes helping them out tremendously only to have them do what looks to be, tossing the truth aside to follow their own way.  (We pray seeds were planted.)  We can be stretched very thin if we don't remember to keep those 'boundaries'.  Brother Jim is going to do a teaching on personal help vs spiritual help and I'll share it when he does.  It's too easy to become too involved in people's personal lives and it takes the focus of what we are here for, to strengthen and raise up people in the truth and word of God most of all. We've also, lately, been on the streets and traveling and praise God, all is going well!  In fact, the witnessing episodes get even more interesting as we go on.  Last night we were parked in a lot for the night, it was about midnight and we were catching up ministry online when a younger man began yelling something to brother Jim.  He couldn't hear what he was saying so the man drove his truck over closer to the window.  He asked if we were storm chasers because of how our van looks. Of course it turned into brother Jim giving the man, and his passengers, the gospel and they were receptive of it.  I shake my head and smile at he magnitude of our Father and how things work out.  Remember that sisters, keep the most important thing ahead of you, use your time wisely and focus on things above, God will take care of the rest.

Speaking of rest, I thought I'd just post some peaceful things that we have seen lately.  While we were at a town out witnessing, we would go back to a park and have some peace.

While we were there I encountered some kittens in the bushes where I was getting water.  Brother Jim said I should give them a can of sardines so I set one under the bushes for them:-)

You can just see his head peeking out...

I took some evening and morning walks, thanking the Lord for the peacefulness.

While we were there, with endless water, I washed clothes and hung them out to dry.  Our van home has many purposes:-)

The good old fashioned days of merry go rounds:-)

If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
1 Peter 4:14

For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.
2 Corinthians 1:12

As we traveled down the road we saw some pelicans...

And mini garden plants, how nice for a patio.
Growing tiny peppers:-)

And of course I snap pictures of all the flowers I see...

Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.
1 Chronicles 6:9

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
John 16:33

He must increase, but I must decrease.
John 3:30

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
2 Corinthians 6:17

We have to remember to stop and refocus, lest we get worn down. We are responsible for our own walk in Christ, our own lives and then helping others. Sometimes we can get things in a wrong order and it causes chaos. As brother Jim is teaching another brother....simplicity.

Eliminate what is causing confusion and stress.
Focus on a simple life and Christ.

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
Ephesians 3:14-21

We are heading north for a period of time and, Lord willing, we may be able to see some of our grandchildren one more time.   We were talking about how they are slipping away as they get older. One is already out of our life, another is getting to that age and the rest will soon follow.  It's a hard line to walk when you love them and want them to be raised in the truth but our hands our tied.  We impart what we can and have to be satisfied in that, leaving the rest to the Father.  It's a joy to have grandchildren but a burden when you see them grow into the world.

Keeping on the armor of God so that we can walk through these battles and come out victorious on the other side.  We don't need an army with us when we have the Lord.  Both brother Jim and I walked through MANY years of wicked trials on this earth without the Lord, how much easier it is with Him! Let us rejoice that we have the King of the universe to help us!

Amen sisters!

Brother Jim received an email (one of many) that contradicts God's word in many areas, feel free to check out he refutes it with God's Word.

Onward to another day we go, Lord willing.  Let us all be strong, bold and courageous!

March on sisters!

Love, peace and blessings to you in Christ Jesus,
Sister Deb
