Sending Sisterly Love

 Good day sisters!

Just last night brother Jim dug out his drawing board and asked if I wanted a picture.  My reply was that I would like whatever the Lord put on his heart to draw for me that I could share with you all.  I thought was he drew was perfect for what I have been wanting to share:-)

But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.  Deuteronomy 4:29

We can get so wrapped up in our duties on this earth (working a job, being a servant, being a wife, being a mother, hearing the news, enduring hardships etc) that we allow our flesh to cloud us and not be as sharp to recognize when we are being drained.

It doesn't take much to fill us back up if we stop and allow ourselves to absorb the Word of God and let Him do a work in us.

For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. [17] For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; [18] While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18

I find myself asking the Lord to wash it (cares, distractions, fear, anxiety, etc) all away and start anew from that moment on with the correct focus and direction.

Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. [8] Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. [9] Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. [10] Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. [11] Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. [12] Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. [13] Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. [14] Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. [15] O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise. Psalm 51:5-7

Our Father is true to His promises.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.  Hebrews 4:16

Many of you are suffering in ways that others cannot understand but through the love of Christ, we can pray for one another, comforting and strengthening each other in our times of need.

Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2

I want you all to know that I care about you  and pray that you strive on in truth, through whatever the Lord has before you.  I thought of you when I took a walk the other day.

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him... 2 Chronicles 16:9

Our Father is a God of love, mercy, grace, peace, joy...the list is endless.  Let us rejoice in Him and He will lift us up!

I drew you a picture :-)

May the God of grace give you peace.

Love,

Sister Deb
