Giving the Gospel and Selling His Name

Good evening obedient, joyful sister saints!

I pray that greeting suits you today? I have been pondering the peace and joy we have as godly saints, thankful for being set free from the agony of being under the rule of satan.  When I was born again, that peace and joy were such a gift, a relief knowing that I belong to the most High God and that He is my Fatherly protection.  It's a priceless gift, that sense of peace...let us never take that for granted.

I thought you might like this picture...it speaks volumes to me.

The gospel good news, in the hands of an older man that leaned on our van for quite a while, talking with brother Jim.  He was given a lot to think about and we could tell that some of it really convicted him. Praise the Lord:-)

And then we saw this.

If you look close you can see our Saviors name on their begging cart...wicked women using our Saviors name to get money from people, I hope they repent.  They packed up and walked off shortly after we pulled in.  There were several beggars all over the place and as we saw a police car cruise through, they disappeared, only to reappear when he left.  Yes we reach out to most beggars and yes we know all about them but their sin is no different than the wicked sins of the rest of society and 'so called' Christians.  Oh, and I almost forgot...we were out in the middle of nowhere (or so it seemed at the time) cutting cross country to another town when at an intersection of a remote country road, a man was standing on the corner.

He was really rough looking and when we stopped brother Jim called him over to his window.  Jim asked if he was hungry but the guy was only looking for a cigarette.  Sad...I know what he's going through as I used to be addicted to smoking before Christ.  It's a wicked trap, like drugs etc.  Just another way for satan to control people and weaken them...but we can be strong in Christ!  Oh, how awesome is that, to be set free:-)

We've been seeing issues with blogger not playing our videos (and were informed by others as well) so I'll have to resort to pictures instead.  I thought you might like this ribbon road.

You can see the road going up and down, up and down, it went like that for quite some time through pretty countryside.

We saw a lot of donkeys along the way, they're so cute:-)

There are nice wide open skies, created by our Father.

We're heading into Texas, maybe tomorrow, Lord willing, for a while.  And then, I don't even want to say it but we may be going in a direction that I said years ago, that I would NEVER go. Never say never sisters, story to come on that if it comes to pass. May the Lord's will be done.

I pray your day is peaceful and joyous in the Lord, that you are victorious over your flesh and you rejoice in what our Savior has done.

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? [17] But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. [18] Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. Romans 6:16-18

Stand strong sisters and we stand with the brethren over the world.

A picture from brother Jim.

And a message he did a while ago about truth being part of the fruits of the Spirit, you can listen to it HERE.

Love, blessings and peace,

Sister Deb
