A White Stone with a New Name
Greetings sisters!
I pray you are all well and strong in the Lord. Each day that goes by is one day closer to being set free from this world and into eternal life with our Father!
For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. Romans 14:8
And some day we get a new name....
We have been very encouraged by some writings of the brothers lately and it's so great to see the light of the Lord shining out into the darkness. The saints are out there, scattered but they are there, doing the work of the Lord.
Satan's time will come to an end....someday....but until then we must endure and walk faithfully in obedience, looking to the author and finisher of our faith.

Brother Jim and I have been running into a lot of roadblocks and technicalities that have been a big hindrance lately and it can be very tiring especially when you want to be doing the things of the Lord, but it teaches us patience and endurance.
Enduring through these trials is part of our Romans 12:1-2 sacrifice for the Lord, killing our flesh and continuing to move forward day by day. We only get one day at a time so we better be thankful for each one.
I do look forward to that day though, and I try not to be impatient in this life, enduring and waiting upon Him to release me to be with Him and I'm sure you sisters are the same.
Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.
Psalm 27:14
But until then we must wait and be patient.
The other day brother Jim and I had to run to town to get a few things and we stopped by this lake to make a video (Married and in the Word series) and I took a quick shot just for you all.
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:1-2)
Word of warning to you sisters. Be very careful that you stay on the narrow path. We see people all the time walking closer to the things of God and then something happens (they come to a decision) and they choose wrongly and slowly fade back. I'll share an example of one we see going on right now.
A godly woman was striving in the Word and because her inside was changed by the power of God, her outsides were changing. She was walking forward in obedience but her husband wasn't. Over the years we have see how his influence has pulled her here and there and once again it is showing that satan is winning out. It starts by small little compromises and ends in tragedy.
Examine your flesh every day when you wake up and seek out any potential sins. Vanity and pride when you dress and cover your head, shamefacedness when talking to men, are you kind to everyone in your family like you are to strangers, do you kill your envy of those who have a life you would rather have...and the list goes on. Satan takes every chance to grab a foothold and we cannot let that happen.
This is yet another area we must endure through as we will never get away from it but someday....we shall be set free from it.
Halelujah!
And I long for the day I get to see my new name.
Have a joyous day sisters.
God be praised!
