Feminist Email Answered
Greetings in Christ to my godly obedient sisters!
We received an email from a feminist woman and brother Jim asked me to post it here and talk about it with you.
Below is the email and then I will break it down.
" Hi
It is the Lord's wish that I write to you and tell you that you must be IN Christ, walk in His Spirit. When you walk in His Spirit you will no longer do the desires of the flesh and are therefore no longer male or female, for when you speak the Holy Spirit will speak.
You must come out of the world of religion and follow Jesus Christ only.
You have taken the bible and made it your idol, for you follow the instructions Paul gave to the churches who had difficulty walking in the Spirit. But you are not born again and hear from the Spirit yourself.
Those churches that Paul addressed were to do certain things (wear headcovering etc) because they were not walking in the Spirit.
You must know who God is and He must know you. Or you will perish
You must hear His voice (not the bible read out loud) and follow Him.
You are in great danger."
So she starts out by saying that it's the Lord's wish that she write to brother Jim and essentially rebuke him through her email. First of all how does she know it's the Lord's wish, is she hearing audible voices telling her to do so or some mystical action going on? Of course we are to be in Christ and walk in the Spirit, which is what brother Jim teaches all over the websites. She also is out of line (sinfully) by usurping the biblical order that God has set up because women are not to rebuke or teach a man. (See 1 Timothy 2, 1 Corinthians 14)
She moves on to say that when speaking by the Holy Spirit there is no male nor female, which goes to show why she thought she could rebuke a Christian man because she doesn't believe God's Word that women are to be silent in the body. God's Word teaches otherwise and she's twisting Galatians 3 out of context.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:28)
This is in reference to spiritual standing before God, not how males and females interact.
She says we must come out of the world of religion. She hasn't read our websites much because she would see that we have come out and proclaim that very same thing to others. (Often, people who listen to strange voices / strange spirits will say 'following the bible' is religion.)
Then she says brother Jim has taken the bible and made it his idol. Not sure what her point is as we follow Matthew 4:4 we live by every word of the mouth of God and that means the bible. Not sure what she is following but it's not the truth of the holy Word of God.
Next she makes the sinful claim to be equal to God by judging that brother Jim is not born again.
I don't know what her point was about the headcovering and Paul's instructions. It was simply a command from the Lord (through Paul) that women are to be covered and men uncovered. 1 Corinthians 1 tells us it's for all people everywhere.
Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours: (1 Corinthians 1:2)
She's correct on the area that we must know God and He must know us or we will perish, we teach that to everyone so once again she's not reading what we write. What's the proof that we know God? Several proofs would be love for other believers which she did not bring. (John 13:35) We keep His commands (1 John 5:3) which shows our love of Him and fruit that we know Him. We love our neighbor...
And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. (Mark 12:31)
Preaching the gospel shows we love our neighbor and God. (Matthew 28) and I could list many more.
Then she says we must hear His voice so that leads into another topic of Hebrews 1 where God used to speak through the prophets and now speaks through His word. She must be hearing voices of some sort in order to 'hear' and needs to forsake whatever book or mystical happenings going on in her life and repent.
This is only the first email she sent and after brother Jim asked if she's married to a believer (in order to keep in the biblical order) she ignored the question and continued to bombard us with wickedly heretical emails.
In the end she told brother Jim he's of satan, she accused him of being afraid of women because he was following the biblical order of male headship and she said other unbiblical things. We quickly learned she is also into the Jewish Kabbalah. I had this post in draft and just this morning we see that she has tried to 'expose' both brother Jim and I online and here are a few things she has against us.
* She claims we are not born again because we follow the bible (She said we should put it down and be led by the Spirit.)
* She says we are not of the spirit because we teach what the New Testament tells us. (Remember we're not to follow the bible.)
* She says I'm in sin because I teach women how to be godly women according to the New Testament. (Remember we're to walk in the Spirit, not follow the bible.)
* Brother Jim has a demon, according to her.
* Brother Jim oppresses me according to her.
And a bunch of other unbiblical claims and of course she isn't using the bible to back up her claims.
We pray she repents of her gross heresy before it's too late.
We thought this might give you a glimpse into what goes on in ministry and the amount of feminism that is shown, as a warning to others. Be careful sisters, that you are not doing the same thing even in a softer way as we see that also. Also I wanted to show you how to not let these such thing stumble you and not allow satan to get a foothold of bitterness or wrongful anger in you. If we were to allow our flesh to get ahold of us, we'd soon stop looking at emails and taking phone calls but we must allow each person to show who they are and then go from there. Also keep in mind if you go through something like this (people lying about you with unfounded accusations) don't take it personally as it's not about us, it's about our Master.
If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. (John 15:18-20)
Let us strive to be shining examples of godly women fully following the biblical order that our Father has set in place and not let the worldly people (who lie about us) bring us down or take away that peace and joy that we have.
