Then and Now The Sin of Deception and the Fate of Feminism

Good morning sisters!
Here we find ourselves in another day, a gift of the Lord.  Let us redeem the time wisely...

Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Ephesians 5:16

Today I wanted to share with you about deception and how satan comes after women by using false teachers.

Let's read about that in 2 Timothy 3:

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Pay close attention to verses 6 and 7. I remember when I first read that I was like 'How are those people getting into their homes unless they open the door to them?'  But then I realized 'TV' and the internet. (That was 11 years ago and today the internet seems to have taken over the TV.)
We are constantly coming across women who are getting their theology mostly online and not through God's Word.  Some will say 'but you have a blog for women to go to'.  Yes, that's true but I'm not teaching theology, I'm simply here to encourage women to continue in the biblical faith in obedience to what women are supposed to be doing.  We even encourage women not to be getting their theology from our discernment website unless they are with their husbands or spiritual authority.
Another area we see women being swept away is with fellowship idolatry.  They are not satisfied with God's model and instead they seek out man made religion because they can't find true biblical believers.  Instead of staying home, trusting in God and being content until or if God brings other believers in their lives, they compromise with groups of religious people who are in sin, just to have people around them.
I will share some real life examples:
We know of women who have had husbands who were not being totally biblical but they had left the religious system and had some sort of spiritual working going on.  Their wives were not content to wait upon the Lord to work in their husbands and continue to be obedient in their own lives, instead they felt they had to lead their husbands (he sinfully reliquished his authority and gave in to their constant pressure) and next thing you know they end up back in the man made religious system set up by satan.
And here's a tragic story of major deception.  We know of a husband and wife that were in a cult being led by one man (he calls himself the bishop).  This 'bishop' passed out a contract to all the men, women and older children claiming that they need to sign this allegiance to their group and system (not God's Word).  Keep in mind that all decisions are to go through the men of the households yet this man usurped God's specific command in this area. This particular husband had been having questions about this group before this happened.  (Let me be fair, the husband was not acting in full biblical obedience in some areas in his life but he was beginning to see truth through all this.)  In this instance the wife signed the contract, she and her husband had an altercation about it and she then moved in with the group.  Since then the husband has repented of any sin, has been stripping his life down, has been pleading with his wife to seek truth with him and has been exposing the many sins of the cult they were in.  She is continuing to choose the deception and soon will be divorcing him (unbiblically).

Unfortunately her husband led her there and he admits it was wrong BUT, she is in sin because she is not following her husband out of it when he shows her in God's Word that there are many sins in that body.  She has shown she desires the fellowship of the people more than the truth of God and will sacrifice her marriage for it.

Beware sisters, satan is so sneaky he can slither his sinful ways into many areas and some even so tragic to end in the way I just shared with you.  This man is now turning most of their possessions over to the wife, out of love and duty to take care of her and will be waiting for her the rest of his life (unless she unbiblically remarries) to see if she might come back to him.

We see so much deception through women, destroying lives and souls.  I can't stress enough that we sisters need to be quiet and content with the Lord. We are to be content with the Lord if we have a biblical husband or not.  Whether we are alone in our lives or not.  We MUST obey the scriptures and not give satan ANY way to get into our lives and be deceived.

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. Matthew 24:4

Think about this sisters: if you never listened to a false teacher on the television or youtube, if you never looked at the false religious systems around you for fellowship and if you simply read the word of God and obeyed it; allowing the Spirit to lead you, you would not be deceived.  Sadly women are so disobedient they are not 'keeping' their homes and are swinging the door wide open for false teaching.

This deception stems from fleshly desires and not being content with the Lord and who He has in your life.  We always see it either stems from or leads to feminism, just like we see the feminism in the garden of Eden with Eve.  Look at the feminism that reared up in this woman who is leaving her husband, how tragic.

Paul warns us sisters...
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:3

And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 2 Timothy 2:14

Let me share an example that I (often) experienced that shows satan obviously sees the spiritual authority between man and woman.  Brother Jim dropped me off at a resale shop and when I was checking out the man behind the desk was talking to me about spiritual things. (I could see that he was not fully biblical)  I responded for a short time then said "I will get my husband, he would love to talk to you about the things of God."  So I go out and tell Jim about this and he comes back inside.  Sisters, it was crazy...when this man was freely talking to me about God's Word he was just fine, relaxed and talking but when brother Jim walked in and was talking to him, he changed.  It was like there was a shift in this man and he was nervous, he was shaking and he actually was digging in his desk for his cigarettes!

Here's an example of one about a woman who ran a thrift store, and she called herself a pastor.  She talked freely to me about how she marries and buries people and because she's a woman, I was allowed to discuss this matter in more depth contending in the Word and showing her the sins of her theology.  At the end I said 'my husband would like to talk to you about these things as well.' She thanked me and said to have a nice day. The next time we came through town brother Jim came in with me.... I'll skip the details and say that the conversation with her and Jim ended with her screaming  'GET OUT OF HERE!"

With me, she was calm but when brother Jim came in and said the same things I did about how women are not to be teachers, the evil spirit rose up.  This is a common occurrance we see when I talk about the things of God with people and when Jim does.  It's like satan realizes the authority immediately.

Be not deceived sisters, kill that flesh and be content with the Lord no matter your situation. Keep your house protected and don't allow false teaching in your life. Don't give ANY oportunity for satan to slither in and deceive you.

Here's a little video of a big snake we found in our yard...this seems to be a fitting place to have a video about snakes:-)

We love, so we share the truth!

Have a joyous day sisters and keept that door locked on your spiritual house:-)

Love in Christ,
Sister Deb
