Homeschool Encouragement
Greetings sisters!
I just wanted to send a simple encouragement to you homeschooling mothers. We praise your dedication to raise your children in the admonition of the Lord and we know it takes a lot of time, patience and perseverance to do so.
We understand that there are different laws and regulations based on where you are located but we encourage you to make the best choice possible. I'm not here to tell you how to do it, what to teach (other than using a biblical base of course) or where to get your resources, I'm here to encourage you to do the best you can based on the options available.
We know of some states (here in the US) that require a regulated curriculum, overseen by a school board and Christian parents simply teach through it, using a biblical basis. For example: If the curriculum teaches evolution, they teach their children that this is what the world claims but creationism is the truth. In this way, they learn how to see through the lies of the world and know the truth of God's Word.
Some of you are raising children on your own, God knows this. Some of you are raising children with an unbelieving husband and have to deal with the drama there, God knows this. You may think your situation is terrible but it might be the exact situation God wants in order for His will to be done!
If you trust in the Lord, He will guide you to all truth.
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
John 16:13
