The Joy of the Lord is my Strength
Greetings sisters in Christ!
In this post I wanted to share some encouraging scriptures to lift your spirits.
That should lift our spirit and make us rejoice in our Savior.
Let us all walk in the ways of the Lord that our joy might be full:-)
That almost makes you want to shout it from the rooftops!
The gospel is something I hear every single time brother Jim preaches or talks to someone and it's a reminder of who I was and who I am now. Who Christ is and what He offers to those who believe upon Him (John 3:16), repent (Luke 13:3) and are made a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17) and live an obedient life in Him (Hebrews 5:9). Those who endure in the (true) faith through this wicked world with satan breathing down their necks, trying to snare them into his trap...those are the ones who will have eternal life. What a joyous thing...if you are on the right side of the gospel.
I pray that you are transformed by the blood of Christ and are walking in His ways, enduring in the faith until He calls you home. No matter what you are going through, He is there.
Have a joyous afternoon sisters.
Love in Christ,
Sister Deb
In this post I wanted to share some encouraging scriptures to lift your spirits.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
1 Peter 1:3-9That should lift our spirit and make us rejoice in our Savior.
9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
John 15:9-11Let us all walk in the ways of the Lord that our joy might be full:-)
1O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.
2 For the Lord most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.
3 He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.
4 He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.
5 God is gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.
6 Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.
7 For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.
8 God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.
9 The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.
Psalm 47That almost makes you want to shout it from the rooftops!
