Homeless or Beggars in America Exposed

Greetings sisters!
I want to share this post (below) with you about the truth of homeless / beggars. Brother Jim wrote of our experiences with them and we want to warn / encourage others.

(It is not a theological teaching, it's simply our experiences with them.)

************************************************

The following is an article with audio that gives you our experiences and exposes the many actions of the American beggars. This is only a generalization but 99 % (we have learned) are alcohol / drug addicted or just scammers that do NOT want to get off the street at all. They prey on people's emotions but they have no plan to re-enter society and work to support themselves. They are, most times, just scam artists so please do not help them further in their sins.

***Yes, I am aware there are the rare true homeless or a family just turned out into the streets but I promise you they are VERY hard to find vs all the scammers I will describe below.

Read on......

************************************************

As we travel to preach the gospel, van dwell ourselves and street preach, we encounter many beggars (some say homeless) all over America. Most we have met live in cars and many even have rv's, apartments and homes so we call them beggars as it is more correct. What we have found is (in general) troubling and very condemning about them. (I am sure there are some out there that are different / well meaning but we have found very few them ourselves, it's a fact!)  I have angered various people when I tell the truth about American homeless as really being beggars/scammers but I am out here daily all over America and our experiences CANNOT be denied.

Out of the many hundreds we have stopped to ministered to, all over the USA for years, here are the usual facts I can report to you so you are warned:

* Most of them are liars / scammers vs being victims.
(They say they need money for baby formula, diapers, a room, a prescription drug but when tested it is rarely ever true.)
* Not one has asked to get off the street even when we offer to help them.
* They are often running from the law. (We have proven this.)
* They all want CASH, not food or other help (they need it to feed cigarettes, drugs and booze.)
* Most are very mean spirited and arrogant, "just give me money!!!"
* They do not want to seek to solve their core issue, their sin: addictions and laziness!
* Most claim a faith in God but have ZERO fruit of it!
* They love their freedom and do not want responsibility of working.
* Many fake illness (like the guy who holds crutches and limps but rides his nice bike all over town when not begging.)
* Many camp on private land and throw beer cans and trash all over and abuse other people's property.
* They are very selfish, prideful and often are very ungrateful and picky.
* Unless you hand them cash asap, they want little to do with you especially when you mention God, new life and share that repenting of sin is required for heaven. (They hate that just like the world does.)

Need proof? Here are some examples of their scamming ways we have recently seen :

 * A man claiming to be cripple and on crutches but he rides all over town on a nice bike (He hides the bike in the bushes when begging, we've watched.)
* Another claimed he needed money for baby items but walked away when I said I don't give cash but maybe can get the items for him.
* One claimed he needed money for a prescription, when I offered to go buy it for him in the store, he just walked off.
* A woman said she was just down on her luck within the last week, as we bought her food she saw a police officer and she took off (with the food) asap without a word or thank you.
* One guy had a cane on the corner, was limping around claiming to be a wounded vet, then I saw him later in town walking fast with no limp, no cane, when he was not begging.
* One beggar got a pricey sandwich bought for him at a fast food place. I then watched him take 2 bites and toss it all to the birds. (Often they complain about food given to them / they are often very picky!)
* Many claim they are homeless then we see they have a car, nice rv in the parking lot or even an apartment. (They've told us.)
* One older man said he has family he can live with but he does not like the weather there.
* One couple said they were trying to get to a funeral. When I asked where they were from and going to, they named places that made no sense with where they were at the time???
* One young man was begging and when I asked what he needed, he wanted dog food for his dog. Oh, and he wanted organic good stuff only!!!
* A teenager I met was illegally riding trains and when I asked him why he does not work he said, "Oh, begging is far easier then working a real job!"
* Many tell me they love the challenge and adventure!

Note:
If I wrote a book and cataloged all the beggar stories and the truth about these "mostly" shameless scammers, no one would believe me except my wife as she has seen it all with me.

Another thing that will open your eyes is that most towns in the USA have shelters and food programs and we have learned most of the beggars will not go there for long as they say:

* They do not like rules (you can't be drunk or do drugs there.)
* They do not like the food
* It's too crowded / they like freedom.
* The shelters expect the beggars to beat addictions and work.

Jesus said the poor will always be with us ( Mark 14:7 ) One reason that is so, here in America, is men are sinful and love to be lazy and addicted.

Note: I had one unbiblical worldly man who takes in beggars, get mad at me as he said: "they are sick and they just need love." He helps them and allows them to stay in their sins. That is a lie as their ailment is not a sickness. It is sin and they must repent and leave it or they will perish! Luke 13:3

Here are several recent short audios that illustrate this point. I walked up to these men ready to help them with food, concern and love. But since I did not hand over cash, they quickly told me go away.

This man was sitting there with cigarettes, alcohol and begging but claims to be of God.

This man claimed to be a preacher as he was begging? He scolded me for having gospel cards, as he holds a sign begging for money. Then he gets mad when I told him his hero of the faith is a false teacher and he sends me off.

I am not being mean spirited here as it is loving to test and see things for what they are and not be a fool for con artists!

Jesus said to judge rightly in Matt 7 not to never judge.

It is simply my goal that you see beggars in America in a new light. Most of them are NOT men who have no home and are just poor, hungry, lonely souls. Most of them are con artists, running criminals, lazy, addicted men who love their sin. Sadly they will stay in this life and be judged by God lest they repent and are made new in Christ.

So we go to them, I show care, I offer help, then I preach the gospel to call them to repent to new life. It is 99.99999% of the time rejected out right! It is NOT godly or loving to just drive by and hand them $10 or food without giving them the keys to new life and truth.

Jesus preached for 3 days before He fed them:

Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.
Matthew 15:32

Then he rebuked them for following after their bellies:

Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled. Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
John 6:26-27

God's wrath for the lazy / liars is upon them and Christ's blood that was shed for them must be told to them so they have a chance at eternal life.

Apostle Paul said this:
For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.  For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.
2 Thess 3

Proverbs says:
Proverbs 20:4 The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; [therefore] shall he beg in harvest, and [have] nothing.

My suggestion for those who want to help homeless / beggars is to support your local food pantry or homeless shelter, then tell them all to go there!

Please consider all of this next time you see a beggar on the corner in America as he most likely is NOT what you think.

Just handing them money to smoke, get drunk or high is NOT godly love of your neighbor but it is in fact foolish and wasting what God has given you.

Here is the gospel to eternal life they really need:
