How To Cut Your Family's Hair

Greetings sisters in Christ!
I pray your day is going well and you are strong in the Lord.
Today I have a quick post to encourage you (if you aren't already) to learn how to cut your family's hair.  We know of believers that are spending good money to cut their hair when they could do it for free at home.

For women this is easy because her hair is to be covered and the only needs of a hair trimming would be on the ends when they get dry.  A simply straight across cut on the back will suffice for regular density hair. If you have thicker hair and want to thin it to keep the density down, you can pull all your hair forward by your forehead, make a pony tail, twist it and cut off the end.  It makes long layers that lighten the load and bulk of your hair when you put it up.  Yes there are some people who think women should not cut their hair, ever, even to just trim it, but we don't see that in God's Word.  We also don't see in God's Word how long a woman's hair should be, that is up to her and her husband.

As for cutting your husband's or your son's hair, that's super easy too!  We got one of these:

It's a hair trimmer and it comes with various sized attachments depending on the length of hair you want left.  You just attach it, turn it on and run it through his hair and it cuts it perfectly every time.  We paid (I think) $25 for this one but there are many different kinds out there.  We know brothers who do this for themselves and brother Jim runs this along the bottom edge of my hair for an easy trim.

I thought this was an appropriate time for this post because #1 it's a keeper at home tip and #2 the salons and barbershops are closed, which is technically a great thing because they promote pride and vanity. This will save you money, time and is a good and pure thing to do:-)

On a different note, brother Jim took care of this thing for me today.

They are normally black but brother Jim hit him with some yellow spray paint to slow him down.

This one shows a 1" screw so you can see how big he is.

Brother Jim took dominion and the spider is no longer a visitor here.  Yep, not my favorite thing about living in the woods but we'll get along :-) Even though he's icky and creepy looking, they are a marvelous creation.  Brother Jim said they might eat the scorpions or....maybe vice versa; either way I told him I really didn't want to talk about it :-)

On a better note, I leave you with this...

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Revelation 1:8

Amen, human words cannot add to that.

Have a joyous evening.

Love,
Sister Deb
