Eternity is Forever

Greetings sisters!
How is your day going?  Can you believe it's already May?  They year is already more than 1/4 past and the rest will fly by just as quick.

We are born, we live and we die.  In the blink of an eye it will seem that our life has gone fast, no matter how long we live.  But eternity is forever.

That's a sobering thought that ought to spark an urgency in us to be diligent in our walk as we don't know when our last breath will be.  Brother Jim and I are close to being done here, a couple more big projects and we're ready to go.  To be honest with you, our spirit is ready but our flesh doesn't like this strange world and would rather stay here on our peaceful, quiet homestead...but we remember this verse:

But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
Luke 12:48

We were the worst of sinners before Christ and now have much required of us in going into the world to preach the gospel.  We love the Lord for His sacrifice for us and are grateful to offer ourselves as a living sacrifice in return.

Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.
Luke 7:47

As we see the days moving closer to the end, we take to heart this:

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,  Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Ephesians 5:15-16

Amen. Let us all walk worthy of the Lord and not grow weary.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Galatians 6:9

Have a joyous day tomorrow sisters.
Love in Christ,
Sister Deb
