Street Witnessing in Branson Missouri...God's Timing

Greetings sisters in Christ!
I pray you are rejoicing in this day.  Brother Jim and I are joyous as we had a wonderful day of witnessing!  We drove to a place about 2 1/2 hours in the opposite direction than we planned to originally go when we first set out on this leg of our journey and praise God, we see why now.

He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
Ecclesiastes 3:11

First of all, we decided to go to a very popular parking spot in this tourist town and we saw that there were a small amount of people there compared to what normally is packed.  We like to park there then walk to where we want to street witness and while we're there, we feed the ducks and geese by the water.  When we pulled in, brother Jim took some time to message a brother in the Lord and when they were done we went to feed the birds.  As we were walking across the parking lot there was a truck that was trying to start but was having a hard time so brother Jim stopped to see if they needed help and offered his battery jumper pack.  It didn't start the vehicle and the woman (with several of her young siblings) said that her mother was on the way and they could try jumping from her vehicle. As the mother's vehicle was charging the other vehicle, the mother asked if we were Mennonite.  That opened the door to a few brief discussions of which she asked about Good Friday (brother Jim told her it was a lie) , Sabbath day (no Saturday Sabbath, and that Christ is our Sabbath rest every day) and what it is and a general overview of the lies of man made religion (he briefly told her some of the many areas they are sinful).  Brother Jim didn't go into too much detail and kindly explained that he would like to hear from her and her husband (she said he's a believer) and that we are there to help them.  She was very kind, is seeing through the lies and we pray they go deeper in the truth.

After we fed the birds.....

(They are so peaceful and sweet.)

...we got our signs and went to the streets, witnessing at a busy corner.  While we were there, thousands of people went by and we pray there was a sheep among them that will see the light and escape the darkness.  Out of the thousands who passed by, there were 2 men that stopped to talk to brother Jim, one was an older man and another was a very young man with much biblical knowledge.  They talked for a long time and it was very encouraging!  The awesome thing is how it all timed out just perfectly for all these events to happen.  Had brother Jim not messaged our Brother in the Lord, or we didn't go feed the ducks, or we picked a different corner, it would have not turned out this way...not to our glory but all to the glory of our Father which is in heaven.  We are humbled to be His workers.

We will sleep well tonight, rejoicing in the works of our Father.
I leave you with more of God's creation, a picture from a sister saint from afar.  Amazingly beautiful!

Love in Christ,
Sister Deb
