The Peace of Flying Signs for Christ

Greetings sisters in Christ!
We have arrived at our destination (a tourist hotspot of the US) and went out on the streets to 'fly signs'.

That term is what the beggars use when they hold signs, but we do it for Christ!  It was a busy intersection and for several hours many people read the signs either ignoring them, nodding and waving in agreement or flipping us off and shaking angry heads. Brother Jim said I should write about this and share how peaceful it is...standing in a dark world, flying signs for Christ, shining the light of Truth.  It's like being in a foreign country because you don't look like anyone else, you don't speak the same things (how can the un-spiritual understand the spiritual?)...

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
1 Corinthians 2:14

...and it's simply a quiet, peaceful way to glorify God and allow the Spirit to do what it does in those who drive by and see.  In comparison, street preaching is totally different because brother Jim has to lift his voice, constantly be preaching the word, dealing with mockers, standing at attention because you never know who will walk up to contend, sneak up behind you to cause trouble and no doubt, the police are always called on you for no reason etc...you always have to be ready and willing to deal with the consequences of being a Christian.  It's quiet trying compared to standing quietly with signs.

Tomorrow we will venture to the downtown area and see what's going on there as the 'virus' issues have slowed down tourism but there are still people to be reached and the glory of God to be shown.

It's been very busy and we are thankful to be workers of the Lord.  It's the best job I've ever had in my life :-)  Our Father is so good to us, it's only our reasonable service. (Romans 12:1)

I just found this picture brother Jim took as I was walking into a store the other day, see if you can find me:-) Not sure if it'll blow up for you or not...

Maybe some of you wonder why we don't plaster ourselves all over our blogs....we are not what matters, God's Word is.  I only put a few pics of myself every once in a while so that sisters can feel comfort knowing that there is another sister who is biblically obedient and a gazing stock to the world just like them.

I'm off to get ready for the day tomorrow, pray that hearts are softened and the truth be allowed to penetrate hearts.

Have a good evening and enjoy another beautiful flower from a saint from afar.

Love in Christ,
Sister Deb
