A Happy Helper
Greetings sisters in Christ!
I hope your day goes well and you are strong in the lord.
We are getting ready to roll down the highway this morning and I wanted to share a good point that a sister brought up. In regard to wives learning to be more quiet, keepers at home, training themselves to be ready for the ministry that their husband (might) have and we need to remember we were created to be a helper to our husbands.
And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
Genesis 2:18
Sister said 'You know, it's not a bad thing to be a helper, the Holy Spirit is our helper!'
I thought that was a great point and illustration of how helpful we are to be. In this feminized world, we sisters are looked down upon for submitting ourselves to God's command for our role in life which also means we are submitting to our husbands, and being a helper to them instead of demanding our own life and they help us achieve our goals.
God shows that greatest example of how helpful a helper is, through the Holy Spirit. Let us rejoice sisters, to be helpers.
May God be praised!
Love,
Sister Deb
