Arise and Shine
Good afternoon dear faithful sisters!
There's something joyful about the word 'arise'. If you look for that word in the New Testament we see it being said (often) to those who were healed or given life.
Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
Ephesians 5:14
Praise God for new life from a loving Father. We arise from our dead lives and become new creations in Christ.
(2 Corinthians 5:17) The promises of eternal life, given from our heavenly Father, spur us on in good works for His glory.
Amen, what a joyous thing!
A sister sent a picture of this adorable little lamb they are raising, I thought it would make you smile. How precious is God's creation. (New life there....)
As we were traveling to our destination today, I took a couple videos of what we see while we're going along. Cities are what we normally see day to day....
As a keeper of the van home, I'm always on the look out to keep up on my duties and I'm thankful for our simple way of washing clothes. The other night I soaked a small load overnight in baking soda water and by morning they washed out quickly.
It was so windy they dried in the time that I walked into the store to refill our gallon water jugs for drinking water. Then we drove across the street to the truck stop that had complimentary water spigots in several areas and after we gassed up the person inside gave us free ice when we tried to buy a couple cups...and she got the gospel. Let's be thankful and appreciative of being able to do the small things in life:-)
Down the road we went and we are now heading even more north in the country, we shall see what happens along the way. Arise and shine that light sisters.
Have a joyous evening, peace and blessings to you all.
Love in Christ,
Sister Deb

And then when we're done we get to drive out,
through the countryside to the next one.
The beauty of God's creation speaks for itself.
