Edifying Destination and Window Preaching

Greetings sisters in Christ!
What a glorious Father we have to not strike us dead for our transgressions and His mercies are new every morning.  Let us rejoice in this and obey Him in love.

In our traveling preaching life we don't have concrete plans because we want to allow the Lord to lead and not be so set that we miss any opportunities for witnessing. There may be times we are heading someplace and we have a joyful encounter with someone seeking truth and then we have to be flexible and make alternative plans on where to go.  My keeper of the home job is to always know ahead where we can park overnight or at least have some ideas.  I usually plan for a large radius around our proposed destination in case something comes up (praise God like witnessing).  I'm excited to say that we do have one destination that we are planning on going in a couple weeks with a potential date in mind, a place we've been to very often and we absolutely love it there.

A lake in Nebraska, just off the highway and the water is so clear you can see the fish.  It's a peaceful refuge for weary travelers and it's free, just pull over on the gravel road and park.  What I find the most compelling is that the super busy highway is just on the other side of the lake and you can hear it (not too loud) yet the peace and beauty of God's creation is in between, like a buffer.  The most glorious thing about this is we will be meeting up with a brother and sister in the Lord that we haven't been with in a long time.  May God be glorified!

Speaking of glorifying God, a saint is putting scripture verses on their vehicle.

It's a simple way to share the truth as you drive down the road :-)  Speaking of which, we are headed down the road very shortly so I will leave you with this pretty picture...

Love to the saints worldwide,
Sister Deb
