Laboring for the Lord
Greetings to our sisters in Christ!
Peace and blessings be unto you, sisters, who strive in obedience for the glory of our Savior who gave His life for us!
Today I want to encourage you in your labors for the Lord. Labors for the Lord does not only mean those that are directly related to ministry. Labors for the Lord are also raising children, looking after people in your life, caring for saints, taking care of the house, living an obedient life, killing your flesh...everything we do as unto the Lord are labors for Him!
Let that encourage you as you are working a job, weeding a garden, scrubbing a greasy dishpan, wiping a child's nose or handing the wrenches to your husband while he's fixing the car:-)
See, it says 'whatsoever' you do. That means it's all important and we should do it unto the Lord.
