You Came Up To Me
Greetings sisters in Christ!
I wanted to share this with you as we see it quickly growing in popularity. Pagan new ageism and one world conscience. I won't be teaching on this but will say it's unbiblical and blasphemy against our Father in that they they think Jesus was part of the truth and part of the one world consciousness but not truly God and not the only way. You can clearly see this coming though the 'virus' issue and now the riots going on here in America, both stirring the pot to bring it closer, faster, to one world order and world unity. What did our Savior come to bring?
So yesterday, we were working online ministry in a little park, on the edge of town with a small gravel parking lot when a man rode up on his bike. He greeted brother Jim and the conversation went to biblical matters and the man got mad. I was in the van getting something when I looked up and saw the guy get mad and brother Jim said 'You came up to me'. That guy fixed his bike, said something about Jesus being a prophet and that he only came because of the disunity in the world, then rode off.
Sisters, the park is not a place that people just casually ride by, praise God for His perfect will.
So, while we were on the streets the other day flying gospel signs on a busy corner, a man walked by, passing in between brother Jim and I. Brother Jim asked him if he wanted a gospel card and that started a conversation which revealed this man also, has the new age mindset of peace and unity through a one world conscience. He then walked down the road to join a group of protesters holding their signs.
Satan's workers are all over.
I want to warn you sisters to be very careful uniting to groups of the world as they will cause you to compromise on God's Word. There are groups that do good things, worthy causes (peaceful protesters against injustice, anti abortion, feeding people etc) but the problem is by 'uniting with them', you are now standing side by side with the world. We are to be called out from the world. (2 Corinthians 6:17) If you want to stand for a cause, you are best not to unite to, promote or send others to support those that are not fully biblical organizations. Brother Jim and I will not unite to any organization that is doing any social / spiritual work unless they are totally biblical. And remember, the gospel is the core message. Stopping riots, stopping someone from aborting a child, feeding people are all good things but they have a deeper issue....unrepentant sin. They need the GOSPEL, not moralizing. Be very careful not to get swept away in moral causes that bring you next to and joined in with the world, they will weaken you.
Be an obedient godly woman and God will use you for HIS purposes which might not be what you want or humanity wants. Stand strong for the truth of God's word sisters.
It was a beautiful, sun shining day and along with it was heat...lots of it:-) After we arrived at our destination, we looked for a place with shade so we could cool off (our van has no air conditioning and the little one we have in the back window is for when we are parked and to cool it off when it's super hot) and found this park.
Praise God for His word goes out no matter where His people are and will open doors.
We learn to appreciate the peaceful settings when we get it because it doesn't last long. Tonight, as I write this, we are in a town that has had many protesters, not long ago, vandalizing and looting right where we are currently staying. (We obviously didn't know this before we got here.)
They are still actively protesting in the town and the police warned us about what could be going on as the place is targeted. We're thankful for the police who do a good job at protecting the citizens and we pray for their protection as all these protests and riots go on. There is a lot of injustice in this world, not just from color to color and we obviously know how the media hypes it up to escalate it all but that's a totally different topic. Our Father is watching over and if we end up in the middle of a riot, so be it.
This all goes along with the two examples I just wrote about, and these such situations only fuel the flame to bring in the one world order and world unity which is exactly what the pagans, new agers and false converts want.
It's good to have an awareness of what's going on around you but we must keep our focus on the Lord as He is our King.
