Abiding in Christ While We Strive On
Greetings sisters in Christ!
Let us praise God for another day to serve Him!
We cannot read that passage and not be refreshed and filled with the joy of the Lord (unless you are in rebellion). No matter what the circumstances are, our Father had done the most loving act of kindness there is, He sent His Son and if we abide in Him, we will be complete. The problem lies when we take our eyes off Christ and we sink like Peter when trying to walk on water.
There is nothing that will not be uncovered by our Father in heaven as He sees all and a sister recently shared this verse:
He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
Psalm 94:9
We are blessed if we continue on in obedience to the Word of God, taking every thought captive (2 Corinthians 10:5) and working hard to cultivate within us, the role and attributes of a godly woman. (Meek and quiet spirit, submitting, obedience, working hard in our homes, loving and respecting our husbands, being a good witness etc.)
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Galatians 6:9
Read that closely...we will reap IF we faint NOT. We cannot allow ourselves to be dejected and fall back or grow faint lest we miss out on our reward. Let us not grieve our Father in Heaven, rise up and show the power of the gospel in a transformed life so when / if anyone in your life is watching, they can see the unadulterated truth!
March on sisters and I am praying for you!
Love, blessings and peace,
Sister Deb
Let us praise God for another day to serve Him!

1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
