Buckets and Bread

Greetings sisters!
We have been traveling a lot lately and still have another leg of our journey to go until we reach another tourist trap / destination.  We have to go through and around some mountains (we don't go over big ones though because we prefer to look up at them rather than down from them) and then we may or may not have reception off and on throughout our time there.  It all depends, we shall see.

For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
James 4:15

Anyway, on the way here we put to good use our new tool.

It's a collapsible bucket!  It's great because it fits into a small space until we need it.

On our trip we were looking for water and thankfully we found a place that offers it to travelers, free of charge.  When you're on the road you really get excited when you see one of these things:

Water spigots are a joyous sight and our bucket worked out perfectly.

I had just washed clothes the day before so we were in need of a refill.  By the way, we have not had to go to a laundry mat the whole time we've been on the road this time. Praise God, He always provides!

When we were driving through a town I saw this on a building and I thought you all might appreciate it as well.

Fresh bread...Lord willing if we make it back to the land this fall / winter, I plan to make some fresh homemade bread.   Goes good with the soup I've been making lately as the weather is rather cool where we are and I'm not complaining!

We're in potato country right now (I could live off 'taters:-) so I've been cutting up one white potato and part of a sweet potato into chunks, tossing in a pinch of dry chicken, a handful of dried peas and mushrooms and enjoying the outcome.  Simple but yummy and nourishing.

I hope your days as keeper at home are productive and you are joyous in them.

Have a good evening sister saints.

Love, blessings and peace,
Sister Deb
