Calm Before the Storm

Greetings to our sisters in Christ!
I pray your morning started well and that your day will be joyous.  We are enjoying some calm, peacefulness in our parking spot before we head out into the storm (the world).

Here's looking out the door.

I was enjoying the little flowers
our Father planted along the woods.
(We saw carpets of flowers in purple, red, pink,
yellow and orange as we went over a pass on the way here.)

And the pretty grasses.

Last night we were blessed with these awesome stars.

We are in the middle of a small parking pull off the edge of a busy highway... Semis, campers, vehicles park in this little area but we still find a way to see through all that to God's creation and the peace He offers us.

We all need to know how to do that in our daily lives, in the midst of whatever we are going through.  Learning how to look past or through whatever is before us, keeping our eyes set on what is in the next life, not getting wrapped up in this life (which will vanish some day).

Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
James 4:14

From a sister saint.

Brother Jim has a new sign for the day....

That will create a spiritual storm.  Those who love God's word will agree and repent, those who don't will mock and be condemned.  I'm not the judge of that and quietly hold my sign...

We show the goodness and severity of God in our outreach to the world. (Romans 11:22) We are to love God and love our neighbor.  Showing them the wrath of God, to come, if they don't repent, is love.  Leaving them in their sin, is hate.

Off we go....
I pray you all have a peaceful day.
Love in Christ,
Sister deb
