God's Greatness and Love...Encouragement from Sisters
Greetings sisters in Christ!
We are rejoicing as each day our Father is faithful in showing His greatness and power. Once again, we made different choices for our day than originally planned and once again we have a perfectly timed meeting with a man who walked right up to our van. Turns out he's looking into the muslim religion (of which brother Jim strongly encouraged him to stop and to seek truth in the bible) and I noticed how he was seriously listening to the gospel as brother Jim preached it to him...as he'd never heard it before. That was amazing and encouraging. We also received info from a person who had left a cult and we worked hard to immediately get the information requested, on our website, so they could use it to help others. We are always talking about God using us all if we are prepared and that can be done anywhere, such as being parked along a sidewalk such as happened today for us, or diligent in a ministry online, walking through the grocery store, at the park, anywhere we are.
I've talked to brother Jim about a new idea and we decided that I will from time to time offer writings from other sisters here on the blog so that sisters from all over the world can be edified. It's rather like a form of fellowship because if we were together we would all be sharing about our lives and this seems like a platform that could be used for that.
Here is some encouragement from a sister on the greatness of God.
It comes to the amazing thing of language and what it is and the wonders of the human brain God created. Yet God is outside of language and bigger than language so in some ways I think all things cannot be conveyed and reduced to words. I was thinking just how little we are and how little we probably really know about God and His power and might. And His holiness too...I know we don't even come close to fully realising the infinite holiness. How vile must be the sins of the people in His holy eyes? Somewhere in the Word it says He is of purer eyes to behold evil and cannot look on iniquity. How we must have grieved Him by our sins...yet He is still merciful and of great loving-kindness to those who seek Him. Talk about a great forgiveness! We are so undeserving...yet He is so faithful. And He wants to raise us up with Christ, and we receive so much in Him. In the Word we see many times people falling down and becoming as dead in His sight. Honestly we are so earthly oriented that sometimes it can be hard to fathom His greatness!
....and this ALMIGHTY God we worship. In the Word, we see glimpses of holy angels around Him doing His bidding and all are pure like the vision in Isaiah the angels covered their feet and they covered their faces. There is nothing vile in His presence! And in heaven there will be pure white robes...and it says nothing evil shall enter. And that is our future if we get through this wretched vile world. You see I think I forget all this when I am just going about life on this earth with all the earthly things we have to do to live. It takes focus to get through this earthly mindset and see, from what we have in scripture, things to come. And I am sure we do well to constantly remind ourselves of this.

Amen, well said sister! We should all look forward to that day, the day we stand before a holy God and hear those words...
His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
Matthew 25:21
I want to share some passages showing the greatness of our God...
21 Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth?
22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:
23 That bringeth the princes to nothing; he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.
24 Yea, they shall not be planted; yea, they shall not be sown: yea, their stock shall not take root in the earth: and he shall also blow upon them, and they shall wither, and the whirlwind shall take them away as stubble.
25 To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One.
26 Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.
Isaiah 40:21-26
4 To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit came from thee?
5 Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof.
6 Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering.
7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.
8 He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.
9 He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it.
10 He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end.
11 The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof.
12 He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud.
13 By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.
14 Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?
Job 26:4-14
Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
Jeremiah 32:27
He, who formed the world with the breath of His Word, He who breathed life into man which He created from dust, He who knows every hair on our head, He is the beginning and the end...He is the greatness of great. Amen sisters!?
In His greatness is love for those who are His. Another sister wrote this about His unfailing love...

This is a dark hard world we live in and sometimes things aren't as they seem, but I always remember John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.
No matter what circumstance you are facing, we can lean on the Lord. As I was praying this morning a verse came to me. Psalm 94:9 He who planted the ear, does He not hear? He who formed the eye, does He not see? O yes our Lord hears and sees and He knows the wicked plan of man.
vs. 18 If I should say, My foot has slipped, Your loving kindness will hold me up. vs 19 When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, your consolations delight my soul.
I like this verse in Isaiah 41:13 "For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of you right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you."
May your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in you. Psalm 33:22
Isaiah 49:15-16 "Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before Me.
The golden rule: Matthew 7:12 In everything, therefore treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the law and the prophets.

Our God is so great that the earth is His footstool (Isaiah 66:1) and His love was shown in the act of Christ (John 3:16).
Only a great God could have eternal words...
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Matthew 24:35
Let us rejoice in His great creation :-)
May God be praised!!!
Love in Christ,
Sister Deb
