It's a Great Day to Serve The Lord!

Good morning sisters!
Our morning is almost over and we are close to heading out in among the tourists for brother Jim to preach the gospel and for us to hold our signs.  I pray those who are seeking will be convicted to come out of the world and into the truth of our Savior.  There is hope for all who repent. I have a few videos to share with you from yesterday while seeking our camping spot for the night and a good morning salutation.

This first on is of us driving to an area (last night) that we've never camped at before...

It was quite the ride and when we got to the end, the spots were filled. (First come first serve is how it goes.)  So we went to another one that we know of....

We saw they had signs now that say no overnight parking so we went back to this one where we stayed the night (there were other campers there last night but they left before we did.)

It was a nice respite for more than just some solitude from the world, but also from the smoke.  There's a huge cloud of smoke from all the wild fires going out out here and it moved in over the western states. Our parking spot for the night was in a valley so we had a bit less smoke to deal with, we'll go there again tonight, Lord willing.

No smoke when we got here.
(There was a very little haze of it.)

And this is what it looked like the next afternoon at the same location.

This morning it's bad enough to burn your eyes and give you a sore throat but we're sticking it out as we know He will give us what we need as He can sustain His people through a burning furnace (see Daniel 3) so He an easily sustain through something like this!!!!

Here are some more pics for you:-)

There are bear in the area and I found it interesting that the sign is in front of this fruit bear-ing tree.  (Pun intended:-)

I wonder what kind of fruit this is?

There's a lot of these flowers...

And I thought you might enjoy this snow stick. (Brother Jim stood by it to show you how high it is!)  They put these alongside the roads so the snow plows can be directed by them.  (They get a lot of snow and even more up in the mountains that we crossed.)

Right now we're in town at a public parking area getting ready for the day on the streets and on the way I caught this pic for you.

I love how cheery flowers are.  They add such a simple beauty to any landscape and may God be glorified by their presence in a wicked world.

Have a joyous day and let us all pray for one another that we stand strong and to the work the Lord has called us, in each of our lives.  BTW, speaking of doing what we are called to do...while we we were at our camp spot (way out in the wilderness mind you) brother Jim was put to the Lord's work.  A Hindu man walked by and ended up wanting to talk about God's Word, saying he's seeking truth.  You might want to hear the audio, it's on our main ministry site under the witnessing page here:

(Look for "Witnessing In a Wilderness Camp Spot to a Young Hindu Seeking ChristThere are instructions on the top of the page to show you how to search.)

Love, blessings and peace,
Sister Deb
